Round of 16 | Switzerland vs Italy | Germany vs Denmark

Ridiculous to rule that block a foul. English refereeing has been an utter embarrassement so far at the Euros.

looked like he dropped his shoulder into him. would have had more of a case if he was just standing still.

What a joke of referee. There wasn't a foul on the keeper. And the Danish player just runs into Kimmich
Because Kimmich intentionally stands in his way so that he can’t run with the attacker. It’s a clear foul.

Jesus Germany are impressive so far. The difference in intent when on the ball between them and England, Italy, France etc.. is huge.

Denmark getting destroyed on corners is not right. “One of those weird feelings in football” is that their entire backline should be 6ft6 Vikings

We had around 5 big chances already, not even counting the disallowed goal. Clearly Denmark will score soon

This is more like it after Italy earlier. Germany play football with tempo and aggression.

Proper intensity from Germany tonight. Denmark got to slow this game down

Germany already has the same number of shots on target as England managed against Denmark in 90 minutes.

I see nothing wrong with fortifying your stance if he sees the opponent running into him. As long as he isn't moving to block him (which I didn't see in the admittedly short replay clips we've gotten here, don't really show the scene before the collission) it's not a foul for me. Hardly Kimmich's fault if the other bloke doesn't look where he's running and attempts to bowl him over.

Kimmich didn't make an active move towards or into the defender. He was just standing there and the defender run into him. Kimmich can't just disappear into thin air.

The commentator ******* over a standard half volley pass in the middle of the pitch is a bit odd

He quite obviously shoulder barges in and leans his entire body into the Denmark defender. Come on, lads.
