Round of 16 | England vs Slovakia | Spain vs Georgia

Yeah I completely forgot that they wouldn't just keep the ball after going 2-1 up. Instead they've pressed like maniacs and are lightning in attack

Even seen them willing to play long balls and whip crosses in at times.

Tiki Taka was an incredible display of ability and dominance but give me this approach every time, joy to watch.

Gotta give props to de la Fuente. Took what had been a successful formula for Spanish football the last two decades, and made space for talented fast wingers that might have been blocked by a more conservative manager. Wonderful stuff.
Yep, its comfortably the most entertaining Spanish team since 2008.

Pedri played the first half. The coach is taking care of him and changing him early.
Gavi broke his cruciate. An important casualty but Fabián Ruiz is doing very well.
Why isn't Yamal just called Yamal instead of Lamine Yamal by commentators?

They are really trying to give him a goal
Olmo 4-1....

Georgia don’t deserve to be going home on the end of a scoreline like this, but Spain are properly good.

Spain look like the best team in the tournament at the moment by a country mile.

When Spain were dominating football a decade ago I wanted anyone but them to win. They were so boring.

This side is anything but. You'd love to see a team win playing positive attacking football like this. They're so easy on the eye.
Totally agree. Youthful and brilliant to watch.

We need to sign more Spanish and Portuguese players... We even have a pretty decent track record. De Gea, Herrera, Mata, Bruno, Ronaldo, Dalot, Nani...

Yamal playing the full 90 mins is child abuse

Cheer up Willy Sagnol. Next stop Ireland….

Don't think Spain were really that boring in 2008 or 2012? They destroyed Italy in the 2012 final.
