This spanish side just oozes quality. So composed on the ball but without the aimless passing we've seen in previous tournaments. They've got real cutting edge this time.

Difficult to imagine anyone beating them.
 
Morata just doesn’t seem like he belongs in a side like Spain. He’s a good player and effective for them - but they’re all so cultured and intelligent and he’s just not.
 
Watching England and then Spain is just...looks a different sport. Spain are so much more comfortable on the ball.
 
There's no reason why England can't play like Spain have been playing.

One difference between the two is when the English players were walking out into the pitch they looked nervous and maybe a bit scared like they were thinking about a bad result. The Spanish were relaxed, they were smiling.

No doubt for me that's on the manager. The players aren't having fun.
 
Man, the defence is all over Kvara and he's still fun as hell to watch.

Should take the Messi approach. He made his debut in 2004 but didn't become a true starting 11 player till 2006/07.

First time watching him and seems to be the best player on the pitch. Do gavi and pedri not play anymore
 
Nico Williams must absolutely love playing with Cucurella. He always feeds him early so he can go 1v1, always available for an overlap, solid enough defensively on his own to allow him to track back when he fancies it.

Pedri played the first half. The coach is taking care of him and changing him early.
Gavi broke his cruciate. An important casualty but Fabián Ruiz is doing very well.

I love Spain.

Georgia are a great side for a nation of their size. Technically and tactically great. Less than 4 million. Pay attention Ireland you fecking shambles.
