So the photo being used to highlight the alleged attack on the day in question shows the top of the kid's being brutally bruised.
Based on this image we can see it is the top of the kid's left hand. Notice position of thumb and fingers (assume he has normal human anatomy).
Now look at position of child in this frame and the way he holds his mobular device. Clearly he holds phone in his open left palm as god intended.
Next frame shows alleged vicious attacker walk towards innocent child. Note that the phone still placed in kid's open left palm (hard to see but true).
The moment before the assault when the evil ne'er do weller winds up ready to attack. The kid's hand hasn't moved and he holds phone same way.
So you tell me Redcafe. How did Ronaldo bruise the top of the kid's hand based on the angle and trajectory of thebulletslap?

Are you insane? If you were writing a Yes Minister style satire then this would be stretching credibility. The sports biggest star, one of the world's most recognisable faces, lashes out at an autistic minor and breaks his phone. As far as stories go it's pretty wild.
It's hilarious on so many levels. Millionaire breaks kids phone, professional athlete bruises kids hand. Like he has apologised and will definitely compensate the kid but he totally deserves the ridicule.
I think it is. It is done from desperation of a lost game and maybe his injury. Not exuse but could be explanation. Nobody really knows.
No one should be insulted and I have actually not seen anyone doing that. Maybe I haven't been looking like I should and I guess that is because I don't see this as a big issue. Mothers are mothers. They want the best for their children and will protect them. They have their right to do that. It is their job. I do question why and don't see any point doing interviews or writing this on social media. This should be dealt with between family and Ronaldo (club).

I'm finding it very amusing that anyone can defend any 37 year old breaking 14 year olds phone. If it happened in any other situation the adult would be a pariah, immediately and universally. But we attack the kid and the mother instead.

Fully agree. I have no time for abusing sportspeople. But if it is an issue, you still don't break a kids phone.
Get a new phone pay the contact for 3 years or so, done deal, move on send the mother a phone as well, send the whole family phones, he can afford it, seems that's won't be enough, perhaps he should be put on community service picking litter up in there estate or something like that, jeez making something out of nothing . How is this story in any way comparable to the Hazard ball boy kicking incident. That ball boy deserved to be kicked the shit out of (which he didn’t) for doing the exact opposite of the task he was assigned to.
In my experience most incidences of an adult breaking a kids phone in an angry lashing out would not play well.
