Klopp to Siri:
‘‘search for midfielders with release clauses in their contracts’’.

I m surprised this didn't happen earlier in the window. I said all along that lavia would be an ideal backup to Caceido for Pochettino team. Both can co exist in the same team and he present much more value than adams.
Rough summer for Liverpool if he ends up at Chelsea
You reckon they’ll be going for both? I suppose it’s possible…
Yea definitely both. It isn't Caceido or lavia unless Brighton reject chelsea new offer. Chelsea squad doesn't really have depth and their only other number 6 they have is that kid Ugochukwu from Rennes who might be loaned out. Santos did well for them in that role, but even he is not a natural number 6. Lavia is at the right age although a more expensive alternative to play that subsidiary number 6 role or even play in a midfield three with Caceido and enzo as the cm. It made sense and with one of their sporting director working with lavia before, I wonder why it took them this long. You reckon they’ll be going for both? I suppose it’s possible…
If the better player existed or was available wouldn’t they be focusing on them instead anyway?Depends who they get instead. In the past FSG eventually cough up money so let's hope this doesn't end up with them getting someone even better

The only inquiry I have is whether chelsea has dropped their interest in Adam's now
We’ve had reports just in the last hour that a breakthrough has been made with Brighton for Caicedo at £90m + add ons. Then moments later we place a bid for Lavia?
I can’t imagine us getting both so I’m going to say this is a pure pressure play to get Brighton to hurry along.
They were going to sign Charlie Adams?
I can't see why not. This is the type of support the manager needs and the type of depth his squad needs to be competitive. We’ve had reports just in the last hour that a breakthrough has been made with Brighton for Caicedo at £90m + add ons. Then moments later we place a bid for Lavia?

Chelsea are short on midfielders.Another midfielder ? How many do they need.
They will because Boehly
Boehly has nothing to do with it, he left Winstanley and Stewart to run the club.
The Caicedo “breakthrough” may very well be clickbait. But Ornstein doesn’t really put out shite so I think the Lavia bid is real.Or one or both of the “reports” were social media clickbait.
£250m in sales this summer alone helps...Can anyone explain how Chelsea are complying with FFP?
Got to love Chelsea.
Scousers in the mud....
Chelsea are a bizarre club.
