For as bad as Morata has been, he still has a better minutes to goal ratio than Lukaku (in PL).
Costa is in a different stratosphere to the other two. We def should have put in a cheeky bid last season
Costa is a league above both. With ease. How can anyone disagree?
Its often said when a player moves out of the league/retires you appreciate just how good they were. costa is one of them

Could care less about that. Crouch probably has a better goal per minute than Kane yet I know who I’d rather have
Surprised at how highly Costa is rated. Had a very important role in Chelsea’s last title no doubt, but never especially prolific here, often more trouble than he was worth and could be truly anonymous at times.
All depends how you look at it. You can also say Lukaku has scored exactly 1 goal in every 2 PL games, yet Morata’s record is worse than that.
Morata has started 19 PL games and has made 4 sub appearances totaling 75-85 minutes.

Goals per minute is my favorite new troll stat.

Does he? Was curious about this so I looked. For as bad as Morata has been, he still has a better minutes to goal ratio than Lukaku (in PL).
Lukaku will go down as one of the best strikers in PL history.
To be fair he already has 99 goals, by the time he’s retired he’ll be close to 200, which in terms of goals he’ll be right up thereHighly doubt that tbh

If he stays in this league and that's a big if
Of course he will. Provided he remains here for the rest of his peak footballing years, he'll have notched 200+ Premier League. On what planet does that not constitute being remembered as one of the league's great strikers?
I can’t see him going anywhere else, the league is perfect for him
I reckon Atleti could afford him at a push, but he’s probably not worth that push.Only 2 clubs in Spain can afford him and he's unlikely to ever be a target for them.

They're not a club he'd leave us for even if they could.I reckon Atleti could afford him at a push, but he’s probably not worth that push.
Ofcourse. What I'm saying is, even if he leaves us, its unlikely to be because Real or Barca came calling.Things change, I'm not necessarily suggesting a possible sale would come within the next year or so (it's mental to even discuss it right now) but in 3 or 4 years can I still see him being our main centre forward? Not at the moment no
Wait are you on about Lukaku? I just assumed you were on about Morata, didn’t bother to read upThey're not a club he'd leave us for even if they could.
The discussion is about lukaku ffs.Wait are you on about Lukaku? I just assumed you were on about Morata, didn’t bother to read up
Still not convinced about Lukaku. You could see Pogba having a go at him for his movement last night. Wonder how much more fluid and dynamic we'd be with a Martial or Rashford up front.
That said, we've definitely got a better deal than Chelsea!
Probably best to brush up on your grammar before you start calling others out on their nonsense mate.He is a better striker than both. Thought we were passed this nonsense already.
I’m gonna go out on a limb here @Pete Dahh Sneak but getting benched for games against decent opposition is no doubt a factor, and certainly not one that should be used in an argument for Morata.
The only reason for that is Morata is not playing much given his poor form, whereas Lukaku has continued to play through his dip in form and is now producing with goals and assists.
For me he was never prolific (averaging 0.6 goals per game) but I imagine he won more than his fair share of points for Chelsea. When you say "more trouble than was worth", you must be speaking about trouble for CB's because that is part of his worth. He make them uneasy and puts them off their game. A real menace. He played an important role for 2 titles at Chelsea, one title at Madrid and a Spanish cup. In all those campaigns there were more glamourous teams than Costa's yet his come out on top. I bet Chelsea don't win a title for ages now he is gone.Surprised at how highly Costa is rated. Had a very important role in Chelsea’s last title no doubt, but never especially prolific here, often more trouble than he was worth and could be truly anonymous at times.
Did you know Morata once went 27 games without scoring a goal? He's played every game against the top 6 except this game vs City...?
He's scored 2 goals in his last 10 appearances. If anything, I'd say Lukaku has been given the chance to rediscover his form while Morata has been injured twice and hasn't been given any playing time really since he's come back.
Pogba was in no position to have a go at anyone given his performance.Still not convinced about Lukaku. You could see Pogba having a go at him for his movement last night. Wonder how much more fluid and dynamic we'd be with a Martial or Rashford up front.
