Wow impressive.
Very impressive indeed. Found the interview and it says he's fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch, English, as well as a native tongue from Ghana.

Wow impressive.

that made me think of that Ferguson-story when he was having a go at Wenger for speaking so many languages - and Ferguson said he had a 14 year old at the club who spoke more languages (was it Charni Ekangamene ?) :)

Ferguson was not impressed by the fact that Wenger spoke some languages hehe

I used to see him as a kind of a big lump, but now he's playing like a one-man wrecking team up front on his own. Seems like's nearly impossible to nick the ball off him at times. His technique is still a bit sketchy but he seems to be improving in that department also. He's close to being the perfect lone striker for me, with Lewandowski being the benchmark.

When I started the Lukaku thread in the summer, most of you said you didn't want him.

I've always been a Lukaku guy. And if I supported a team that came up against a strike force of Lukaku and Martial, I would expect to concede.

As an attacking duo, they would complement each other so well. Could be like the new Yorke-Cole or Rooney-Tevez

Would be a huge signing. My only worry would be the potential injury problems down the line. He's played a lot of football since the age of 16 I believe?

£40m sound a good deal for both parties, i would be inclined to offer £90m and get them to include Stones in the deal too.

Danny Welbeck? The one who doesn't score goals? And has been injured all season??? OK

Yep as he's much better than Mata at right of a front 3 gives us pace and movement and would link up with Martial. I'd take Danny in a heart beat

Wont be getting Lukaku for £40m and certainly not in Jan

That quick shutdown. 40m for a 23 year old, 20 a season striker is a good deal. I can see why an Everton fan would argue otherwise. How about 100m for Lukaku and Stones?

It's not when you consider the fee we paid for him, his age, his form this season and his value to us. We were rejecting 40-50m for Stones in the summer with ease.

Buying top players from English clubs will be affected by the Sterling deal. I expect Everton to ask for the same kind of money. 50m

Unless he handed in a written request, i can't see them letting him leave. Way too valuable to them. He's one of the best in the league, by far their most expensive signing and will only get better. He's their ticket to any success they're likely to have in the next few years. Kenwright might well perk up when he sees 50m written down, but who could they replace him with?

We'd be mad not to try though. He's exactly what we need.

A lot of people questioned Everton's sanity when they paid £28million for him. That fee now would be a steal.

He's only 22years old and has over 100pl appearances, with a good goal-scoring record. Can only see him progressing further once he makes the step up to a CL team.

He should be our number 1 target to replace Rooney.

Never understood why we weren't in for him when he was 16 and scoring goals for fun at Anderlecht. Hazard was a sensation at Lille way before we and Chelsea came knocking on the door. I hope we don't make the same mistake with Tielemans.. almost guaranteed he'll turn into a quality midfielder.
