colour me skeptical about that report. I just do not see it happening
Would be funny see people's opinion here change if you guys sign him after so many of you constantly call him a donkey.
Would also be very interesting to see what we would do if our supposed #1 striker choice was off the table. Belotti?
Rooney worth a £25-30m price cut? We'll end up loaning him to them and subsidising half his wages.
If we are truly in for Lukaku then us allowing that to happen might be a sweetener, but that is about as far as it goes.
He isn't dynamic enough and it is hard to think of a less mobile/dynamic striker playing for a top team which suggests it is a criteria that is becoming more and more important.Lukaku will be absolutely awesome. We're talking about a bloke younger than Lingard who was second highest scorer in league last season despite being surrounded by a few fairly average players. He'll only get much better. Would be delighted with his signing
Don't We'll have to change your name to Devil doesn't care.
We have to deal with Raiola again if we want Lukaku.
Lukaku isnt mobile? Thats the first time Ive heard that.He isn't dynamic enough and it is hard to think of a less mobile/dynamic striker playing for a top team which suggests it is a criteria that is becoming more and more important.
i have been banging the 'i prefer lukaku' drum with him and morata for ages, and not had many agree. Think there's going to be a lot of revisionism on this forum soon mzybe. FWIW though, i think its bsWould be funny see people's opinion here change if you guys sign him after so many of you constantly call him a donkey.

Rooney barely played last year, even less so as a striker. The only legitimate reason to buy those two would be if we are switching to a two strikers system.
He's a bit of a headless chicken, but he's mobile alright.Lukaku isnt mobile? Thats the first time Ive heard that.
He is fast and strong but dynamism in the mould of the likes of Suarez, Lewandowski or Agüero at his peak is not one of his strengths, not by a long shot.Lukaku isnt mobile? Thats the first time Ive heard that.
That's not even close to the point of my post. I was responding to the suggestion that we were losing numbers in terms of our attacking personnel. My point was that this isn't the case since Rooney was barely ever playing as a striker. When Rooney played he rarely looked like scoring. Put a capable striker or forward in his place and we will improve.
I'd love him here. Can see this happening too.Deadly, I think he would be great for us.
Is Matt Lawton reliable?
I see he writes for Daily Mail so for me degrades the reliability of this report.
What? Its says we are hijacking his move to Chelsea as relations between Chelsea and Everton have soured because of the John Stones transfer saga ?
Adjust your eyes its written in the article. What?
You're right, what a bizarre story. Luckily I think it's all bollocks.Adjust your eyes its written in the article.
Probably. You're right, what a bizarre story. Luckily I think it's all bollocks.
So, attacking personnel is the same as playing as a striker? By the way, I have him playing 6 games as a striker. Mkhitaryan has never played as a striker and had more goals than him. That's not even close to the point of my post. But works for the daily fail?Yes. He has a very good reputation.

lol lukaku is quick. At old Trafford this year lukaku ran round the outside of Rojo with the ball, only for bailly to come across and tackle. If he can do that to Rojo who isn't exactly slow then he's more than quick enough. He isn't dynamic enough and it is hard to think of a less mobile/dynamic striker playing for a top team which suggests it is a criteria that is becoming more and more important.
How much of that £100m will go to Eric Bailly as part of the third party ownership?

Could this be Riola's handy work to try to force Chelsea into action?
I don't believe for a second that we will sign both Morata and Lukaku. It would be fecking insane.
I think this is a carefully manufactured tactic by ourselves and Everton to:
a) Get Chelsea to pay up
b) Make Real nervous and accept a lower fee for Morata
Benefits both clubs really.

no because Raiola would rather deal with Ed if tabloids are true, i think its a case of 2+2=5 after rooney story. Morata looks so close to being done, i just dont get the lukaku storyCould this be Riola's handy work to try to force Chelsea into action?
