I watched him the other day and he has not changed;
He scored a good goal then he missed a sitter in the second half and he did not do much apart from that.
I am glad Ole got rid and Martial has improved in a big way this season with his workrate and getting in good positions so he is starting to look like a genuine striker these days.

Yeah Martial has been so good for us. I supported both Belgium and France in the WC 2018 so I watched all their matches. Lukaku and Giroud were horrible tbh. If this #9 Martial was discovered two years earlier he'd be a WC winner already. France would had a killing front with Griezmann, Mbappe, Dembele and Martial. Dembele was still really good back then. What a shame really.
France had better strikers than Giroud available, regardless of Martial. I think Giroud would have played regardless. Deschamps quite likes him afaik

I agree otherwise, I only watched a few of the later matches and Lukaku was pretty terrible in the ones i saw. I heard he started well, so the usual - bullying weaker teams but not offering enough against decent opponents. I dont think Giroud is particularly great and i thought he had a bad tournament on top of that.

Martial is a center forward and has been our best player along with Bruno since the new year.
He was useless for us though? Hasn’t greenwood scored more for us this season than Rom did last season? We’re a much better side without him in it.

Martial is not a centre forward and should not be playing as one . Hopefully Greenwood will develop into one but until he does we need a better option through the middle .

Happy for him. I've always liked and supported him here. Playing in a better coached/organized team by a good manager is easier.
He can score 60 goals but truth was he was always looking to move abroad. People blame Ole but he was also shit under jose in 18-19 first half. When in crunch moments he always screwed it up. Italian league is perfect for him.

We really missed him for the first half of the season. Near the end Bruno and Martial made up for the loss more and we got more quality in the final third.

It's not a surprise he's scoring lots of goals, he always has. Inter got an excellent deal in the end when many here wanted us to almost give him away for even less.
I don't think anyone here really cares if he fails or not.
But you have to admit it's also annoying that whenever he scores, there's always 1 person who goes on about it.
