Lukaku has been their best player so far this season. McTominay hasn't actually played that well, not that he's been bad but he's been at the same level as shown here. Only difference is the narrative changes to make United seem like mugs for selling him
Cavani was never fit and scored 12 goals in 41 games. Lukkaku scored 28 in 66..... so unfortunately that just isn't true.
Bit of a misleading stat that because Lukaku played full games. Cavani averaged a goal every 135 minutes in his first season with us (0.66 goals per game)... it's just that he got scraps of games instead of starts

And Lukkaku was a goal every 168 minutes and also stayed fit enough to be on the pitch. Give me the player that's fit enough to play any day of the week please.
