They'll come back tomorrow or on Monday.Where's the haters?
Great performance from Rom. His all round game is improving.

Yes, typical "striker in a rut" finish. Thankfully he hit the back of the net, and I'm sure that's going to do a world of wonders for his confidence!Anyone think it was a bit of a weird finish? He gave the keeper a pretty large chance at saving that, was centimetres away from his body when he could have easily stuck it further to his right without having to blast it as it could easily have cannoned off the keeper.
Other than that he played really well so no idea what game some people were watching.

Don’t really agree I’m afraid. All the keeper had to do was move slightly to his left and that cannons off of him he didn’t have to do much to do that. Just think in terms of finishing there were better options there for Lukaku. As @Jed I. Knight said typical drought finish. Although he did score 3 in midweek was it.Keeper had no chance with the level of power and dummy before.

Yeah there was certainly a chance Elliot would be in hospital with a cannon ball injury but I was just meaning that he took a very risky option to score when half power, further to his right and it rolls in with dead certainty. It would have cannoned off him into the net. It was one powerful strike and would have sent him through the Stretford End.

Of for sure!! Hate to be in the way of that shot. He does have a dig on him. There was one in pre season where he smashed it off the junction and I sware the goals moved. It was emphatic wasn't it? Think he was sending a message out.

I wonder if Jose might give Zlatan a go up front, with Lukaku down the right at times, we've got obvious problems on that side, and Lukaku looked a lot more comfortable running onto balls from the right, where he isnt expected to play with his back to goal and hold it up. Could be the solution to our right wing, in which case we can bring in yet another striker (Kane).Lukaku didnt get the memo that he's a poacher, a player with no technical qualities. He just as effective on the right cutting inside as he is in the middle.
remember when Martinez played him there against Arsenal in 2014? They beat Arsenal and Rom was superb on the wing. Moyes was sacked few weeks laterVery poor in first half.
Immense in the second one. He looks x10 more comfortable coming from the right flank. He's better there than even our supposed right wingers.
