He was much better with aerial duels today which were decisive in our goals today. Plus an assist for Rashford's goal!

Thought he was brilliant again. His link up play is improving like crazy and he is starting to terrorize defenders.

Love big Rom. Left everything on pitch. Thought him and Sanchez would faint with exhaustion.

As I said in Palace match, you can criticize him as much as you want for anything, but he's a very lovable guy that gives his 100% with full passion. Impossible not to like him.

It's unfortunate that game will go down as another statistic to be used against him. Very much influenced the hell out of it though

Like I said in the match day thread (which is a black hole of shit posts, which is why I hate that these threads are closed during the game): He's clutch!

Immense in the first half. Suffered more than anyone from our total abdication of all attacking intent after the break, and became too isolated to do much of note in the second half. But he's really showing his worth, and I'm really starting to think that he can nail down that spot up front for years to come.

Lukaku has been immense this calendar year, so vital in anything we do.

Morata would've set a new PL record for going down if he came up vs those cnuts today who kept trying to bully him.

When we play through Lukaku and to Lukaku we are a very different, very dangerous team. He has been in brilliant form recently, I am struggling to remember when he last failed to influence a match for us. Hope his critics start to give him the credit he's been earning.

Quality. I hope this will shut up some people who constantly moaned about his link up play.

Two fantastic pieces of play from Rom, which went on to win us the game.

Super in the first half, but our tactics in the second meant he was isolated, hence not highly involved.

He played a role in every goal the team scored against a top 6 team except the City game.

No I am one of his critics but again he was good this game. Honestly since the Chelsea game he has been really good. If he keeps that up I will eat my words. The Chelsea game changed it a little for me as I didn't know he had it in him to take on quality opposition and he does it against Liverpool now too.

(still think we need a better striker to lead the line for a season though)

That first half is the best I've seen him in a United shirt.

Such a passionate lad. Exactly the type you need in the team. His reaction to the second goal again was brilliant.
Works his socks off for the team. Excellent game for him.

Great game and some decent dribbles and hold up play too which was pleasing to see.

Fantastic today. Great fighting spirit. Destroyed lovten two times. Shame that it will be remembered in stats as a game against top six where he didn't score but in reality it was great performance from him

He did get an assist so he has something to show for the good performance! Didn't score but he doesn't have to every time. Just influence it as he has been lately

Excellent today. Bullied their CB's continuously and assisted for Rashford's opener. We have a very very good Striker!!

Was pivotal today. The catalyst for both our goals and his running was on point. He's hitting form at the right stage of the season.

All round excellent performance. Hold up play was top notch.. winning key headers, good strength and as Joga said.. good dribbles and he was unlucky with some passes where he could have grabbed a cute assist too

Energy and commitment to the game in the dying stages is incredible. That alone makes him a Manchester United striker.

Gives his all and what I like most about him is what he said prior to the game:

Self-awareness and wants to improve. I don't think we need to look for Kane or any striker anymore, Lukaku has shown he can be good enough in the future, if he is not already now.
