I feel sorry for him lately. He were in couple of good positions and for some reason Pogba and Rashford didn't pass to him for that final ball.

He made so many runs it's a pity for him. Wasted effort Lulaku! But please don't give up and keep making them.

An okay player had an okay game. Not bad not great. Everton level. Like many more of our players tbf.

Playing really well lately. Should have scored with how many decent positions he was ways in. Poor delivery and selfish teammates was what kept him from scoring.

He does certain things very well but other things he's truly dreadful at. Like a good first touch inside the box to set himself up for a shot, it's often too heavy.

Agree. His first touch is now a burden on him during the box at some times. He should really work hard on improving it on training. It's something he can still improve at this age and if it improves he'll get far more chances to score. He always does well with the ball when he ends up controlling it.

He's a great player and parts of his game are better than I thought they were. Its these types of games we need someone to step up and he did by creating the goal.
There is something about him though that just doesn't feel that he his a united player and I just can't put my finger on it. Maybe its for that weird thread.

He gets sod all service in this team.

That he's even playing remotely well is to his credit. Probably the only attacking player on the field to play with a brain cell today.

Outside the box, his work is very good. His touch is fine, the rush of adrenaline inside the box is a problem at the moment.

Rom was superb at Burnley today. His assist flowed naturally from the strong build up play he showed. Felt for him because he was running the channels constantly, yet other players kept overlooking his runs.

The box is always a tight area filled with defenders so a good first touch in it becomes harder that outside it. He seems to lack this skill at the moment, to keep the ball under his control from the first touch when surrounded with defenders but I think at his age he can and should work on improving it in training.

Agree completely! Really felt bad for him today.

If I was Lukaku I'd be furious with both Pogba and Rashford, he was denied a through ball twice today due to greed. One of those was the captain too.

Gets feck all service so becomes the creator...how anyone can criticize Lukaku is beyond me. Multiple times he makes a good run on the counter attack and no one gives it him.

I wish everyone in the team had Lukaku's unselfishness. Mourinho needs to have a word with a couple of these players.

Part of the problem being, I think, that Rashford is going to keep playing as a winger with a striker's mentality. At this point, Rashford should be benched and made Lukaku's backup. Hopefully with Sanchez coming in, it becomes easier to do this.

Once we get a player who can play passes alongside him and into his stride, we’ll have an unstoppable goal scoring machine. Virtually everything thrown at him he has to fight for to get near it. He’s a much better player than his team mates are making him look.
I’d say Ozil would be immense for his game ‘if’ we can sign him.

Already making so many people eat their words and I am sure he will get better. Just wish that some of his teammates were as unselfish as him & Martial

Give him another break at Yeovil and have him on the bench or something. He has been working his socks off for ninety minutes every match

First touch must improve, 75mil for a sunday league first touch, he must improve that especially in the box where it really matters.

Another good game. His team mates let him down today but he was crucial for our goal.

He's being criminally starved. Poor guy needs Alexis in the team to feed him ASAP.

That hold up play and assist was Drogba-like.

He's a very intelligent striker, can clearly see that he's been sharpening up the technical side of his game; passing, crossing etc. this season. Immense for the goal, there were moments where he could have gone down but through his determination and vision he made that chance. Hopefully Alexis will help him get a few more goals that he deserves for the rest of the season.

I feel sorry for him. He’s a workhorse on the field but must be running low on morale after not being able to grt on the scoresheet. I feel he’s not getting the service he clearly craves and got quite annoyed when Pogba decided to take a shot instead of play the ball into him when he was screaming for it.

He scored in the last game. I’m sure he can cope with not scoring every game.

It’s true he did score but comparing his start of the season with a difficult patch he had I feel he’s not getting what he deserves for the amount of work he puts in. He’s often not selfish and other players in the team around him often are and speaking from a personal level if I was in his shoes I’d feel upset with how things were going.

His assists tally is building up quite nicely.
He's always had lots of assists. Even at Everton I think he had the most assists of all the strikers in the PL. People don't see that side of his game but he works so hard for the team. He can't pass to himself though can he?

I’m sure he’s frustrated with the decision-making of the rest of our attacking players. Who isn’t?! I just think it’s a stretch from that to assume it’s damaged his morale. The barren spell in front of goal will have been much harder to take. Now he’s got that monkey of his back I’d say his morale is pretty good. In fact, I’d say that’s a big factor in him playing so well these last few games.

Yeah, his morale looks fine. During the barren run everything about his game suffered, his hold up play went to shit and he wasn't winning anything aimlessly pumped towards him. The way he's linking up and putting himself about has gone up a level, which suggests his confidence/morale is much higher than it was during the bad spell.

Although I'd say Lingard replacing Mhkitaryan has helped him a lot as he is just playing better than Mhkitaryan was and giving Lukaku someone to link up with.

Why after every mistake he makes does he wave his arms at the nearest united player to him, trying to blame them for his mistake. It’s extremely annoying and can’t be good for morale.

His link up play is improving, his first touch doesn’t seem to be but overall he’s doing ok.
