Roland Garros 2009

Ah, Swedish Eurosport are actually bothering to show some of the tennis live today, that's nice of them. Can't be any competitive hard boil egg smashing going on at the same time at a sell out Swedish stadium or something

Still piss me off though, jumping from one game to the next. Just show one pissing game and stick with it. Wouldn't be so bad, I've got Eurosport 2, which is showing the world egg laying championships

So swedish TV isnt just a bunch of blonde swedish birds running around naked all day?

Federer says nothing related to what the title of the article says or what you paraphrased

"Sure, he [Murray] has a good chance to make the finals. But at the same time, Davydenko has a chance as well.

"He's been written off a little bit. I've been disappointed that I've not heard about him much because he's a great player.

"That side of the draw is wide open. It will be difficult for Soderling against Davydenko. If you've beaten a great player, it is difficult to back it up.

"Just because you beat one particular player doesn't mean you are now going to beat everyone else

 Got to love journos.

Come on Soderling, if you wrap this up in three there's a chance Eurosport will be forced to show me the Murray game in its entirity. Unless there's some youth game they want to show me instead

Surprises me when players wear black in heat like they'll be playing in today.

I wouldn't think Murray has much chance of winning RG at this stage of his career. Both Gonzalex & Soderling are clay specialists who should easily overcome Murray.
In a few years when Murray has learnt to play on clay properly he might stand a chance.

Three break points on for MUrray here.

Gonzalex saves the first.

ETA: And the second.

He did break him, courtesy of a Gonzalez feck up - the Chilean stuck an easy return into the net. Murray's got to hold his own serve now, though, and he's already 0 - 30 down.

Is their a Chillean tennis player who isn't a clay specialist?
Trust me, he's a clay specialist...

Titles by Surface:
Hard (2)
Clay (8)

Ahh right, fair play, i just went by his results at roland garros, i didnt think he'd ever done great here.

ANyway, i hope murray gets this set back and then i get home in time to watch the following 2 or 3!

Murray's going to have to play a lot better to win this - and I'm not sure he can. Gonzalez is making more errors now and yet Murray still isn't taking advantage of them.
