Shouldn't you have had a great view then. Right behind the shot surely? I find I can't grasp goals scored at the other end well if I'm low in the East or the Stretty.
Welbeck's goal against Stoke was better.Unbelievable goal.
Best first goal ever in a United jersey?
I like to see him play with a target man like Welbeck. Crosses and long balls will be for Welbeck and van Persie will pick up short passes to score with his trademark curling shots. With Kagawa range of passes, he'll have a field day.

Reminded me a bit of Alan Smith against Norwich, except I think Smith took it off his chest.
That was an outstanding goal, probably his best ever goal for United. He scored another quite brilliant one in the Charity Shield against the Arse, didn't he?
Alan Smith in midfield. The new Roy Keane. Central midfield seems to always be such an issue with us. Not Fergie's strong point.
fergus bought keane and ince, and you can add carrick to that as well....he has it in him to spot a CM.
Of course. But only Carrick has worked in the last decade or so. And Carrick really isn't in the same bracket as the best in the business. A similar list for wingers, centre backs and strikers would be littered with brilliant players.
