Looks nice! And it's a possibility, I guess.
But Rafael will be back, won't he? If so, it'll free up Valencia for the right-hand side.
Wonder if he will be ready to play on Monday.
I wonder if we'll ever see an AC Milan 4-1-2-1-2
Van Persie in Izaghi's role.
Rooney in Shevchenko's.
Kagawa in Rui Costa's/Kaka's role.
Cleverely or Anderson in Seedorf's role.
Carrick in Pirlo's
Valencia in Gattuso's, covering the right-back (Rafael) and bombing forward to the right.
My LFC fan friend asked me if our new strike partnership would be called Fatman and Robin.
I lol'd.

This is surreal.

Tom Cleverly was interviewed after the England match & when asked about RvP he said 'if' he comes.
Suggests he doesn't know about this yet?
just got online for the first time since this morning, great news :d
Are you kidding? Going wingless with Nani, Valencia, Young and Kagawa in our squad?
If anything that would underscore our midfield weaknesses.

I don't see why people see age as a huge problem here. Real bought Zidane for €65m and Figo for €56m when they were 29 and 28 respectively, I'd argue that both were sensational transfers. Big clubs have been doing it for a long time, buying top players in their prime.

Wayne and Robin . United will rise again.
It's just something we might try, being one of Europe's most successful systems of all time and all.
Not saying we use it every week.
Also, Kagawa isn't a winger and Young doesn't deserve a starting place.
It's harsh on Nani but good option off bench to change things around.

hope he passes the medical. You never know. And personal terms? Can be a bit tricky too.
Btw, it's a fantastic short term deal. I'll be more than happy if he contributed hugely to our success in the next 2 years. Welbeck will take over from there. Less pressure on Welbeck. He'll take his time developing his football. Chicharito will be a great backup striker.
Like i mentioned before, Rooney, van Persie, Welbeck and Chicharito, what a quartet.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
Seriously though, when was the last time you were this excited about a transfer? I genuinely cannot think of one.
Rafael will be back. Endless options for SAF with this squad.
