On a serious note as soon as I made that comment it didn't quite sit right...they seem to do the same thing but are so different stylistically. Its odd, Van Persie never seems as clinical as van Nistelrooy, but he's just got an incredible knack of finishing a half chance every game. He doesn't hold the ball up like Van Nistelrooy in that traditional centre forward role, but he's a nasty, feisty bastard with an incredible first touch and great creativity. He's just a superb player and we're lucky to have him.
Media trying very hard in the post-match interview to stir up some kind of drama about him playing against Arsenal, embarrassing stuff how persistent the questioning was.
His form at the moment is unbelievable though, so great how much threat he's added to our line up.

He just oozes quality. His vision and weight of pass is so impressive, as well as his touch, clever movement and goalscoring ability. He really could prove the difference between us and our rivals this season.
I think he is the best player in the league personally! 10 goals already and fingers crossed, i can see him matching his scoring tally from last year at least! What a signing he could prove to be, it's surely no coincidence that we are coming back from behind so often and still winning. He seems to have given the whole squad a lift and an extra bit of belief!

What I like is that he's not casual with anything he does. He makes mistakes of course, but generally if he does 10 things he'll do 8 really well. I like that quality in him.
