I think it's a mutual termination type thing. He was constantly flirting with moving and rumours him and Bloom had bust ups over recruitment. Better for Brighton and their model to cut ties and get someone who wants to be there.

He has had a poor season, it goes totally unmentioned on sky sports but after the love-in they gave him early doors they can't really do a 180 and start staying he is a failure.

Big gamble on a manager who has technically never managed in the Premier League. De Zerbi has done OK given the circumstances, it's not like Brighton are a club that should be finishing top 8.
