Lewandowski would be the perfect player for someone like Messi to play off him, imo. If Lewandowski wants to be the star in the team, and the team build around him, he's wrong at Bayern though and he could fail in the same way Ibra did at Barca. I think the board isn't unhappy that they don't have to buy him now and that he'll join on a free next season. If it doesn't work out we still make a profit if we sell him after one season.He might have tried to fit the player in but in a way that wouldn't suite him, same could happen to Lewandowski considering that he is a deal made by the board before Guardiola was even appointed as a manager.
