Seems unlikely unless he is formally charged with perjury, but I am not sure filing a false police report falls under the definition of perjury.
My guess is that like the other swimmer, he will end up making a decent donation to a charity and issuing an apology. Worst case he could find it difficult to travel outside the US.

This volleyball semi final between USA and Italy is pretty crazy right now. First set went to Italy, 30-28 after USA had like 5 set points that they failed to capitalize.
This final round of show jumping is proving to be a tough test in the heat so far.
BBC reporting that the Paralympics are to be cut back, 10 counties may not now go and atleast one venue is not going to be used.

Indeed, one of the abiding examples from London was the prominence and public interest in the Paralympics; something which Glasgow 2014 sought to maintain.
In some of the sports I thought the 2012 Paralympics was better than the Olympics, it will be a shame to have a shame of a games and that looks like what it will be like.
