Right Winger... Who do we go for?

Malcom has played 25min so far for Barcelona (if whoscored is right)
He could have been a regular for a lot of good clubs in Europe. Such a waste.

I think Bergwijn is a better prospect than Lozano and would be a lot cheaper

Watched him a bit when you played Germany, and he seems to be good at dribbling, a bit similar to Martial perhaps?
But would you say he's a good rw? A player that can beat his fullback and deliver a hell of a cross once in a while?

he's still young but i believe he can do that. what i like about him is that he is less selfish than Lozano

Sane, Lucas Moura, De Bruyne.. Oh wait.... We missed them all. Seriously would go now for Draxler, is he getting game time at PSG?
I'm pretty sure the only right winger you named is Lucas Moura.

Sometimes wonder what goes through players' heads when it comes to such moves, eg Barkley going to Chelsea, Loftus-Cheek staying at Chelsea this summer, Sinclair to Manchester City

Guess you have to remember to be a top player you have to have an almost unshakeable arrogance which means backing yourself when we as neutrals can clearly see they aren't as good as those they will compete for starting places with.

The significant pay rise probably helps. He probably also thinks that Suarez is slowing down soon, and that could mean he might be able to earn himself a spot in the starting XI with a bit of a shuffle of positions.

Word in the transfer rumors is he looking to leave Barca in January. If the fee is similar to what they paid we should be all over this

If Lozano keeps improving at the rate already shown he could be world class very soon! Eight goals already in 9 matches for PSV! Thought the same watching Suarez in the Dutch league! Chong will be very close this time next year too I believe... just needs to work on his physicality then could be as dynamic as Sane was last season for City

Dembele has been riding the bench recently and didn't play today even with Messi out. Could be available at a discount in January.

We need a pure winger , one who could hold the width and deliver a good cross.

I don't know. Depends, sure if he is quality. But we could use our fullbacks for that. I think what we badly need is attackers that have goals in them. Martial on the left and Dembelé on the right pushed forward as attackers more than midfielders has such potential you could build around that. I'm certainly not content with building around Lukaku anymore tbh. Need to find some other way to be dangerous when going forward.

IF we play that way, the Sancho.
Why would a young player like that want to join a club where the owners only want to make money? Where trophies aren't important? Where managers are hired and fired every couple of seasons?

It's not going to happen.

I agree with your point but we could have both is what i'm inferring. On one side we'd have martial cutting and plying as inside forward and a traditional winger on the other side. FB's could cross the ball but they could be marked out easily unlike Pure wingers who can beat a man and cause havoc. Having a mix would do well for our forward also i guess.

I was totally against it at the time, but what a difference Mahrez would have made.

Hakim Ziyech does anyone not rate him in the caf?

Lets aim for Messi, Mbappe, Neymar, Hazard etc then.

Delusion on this forum is at an all time high.

Nobody worth any salt wants to join our club whilst the club is on this constant downward trajectory under the owners and board. Get used to it.

If he was leaving Chelsea I don’t see why hazard wouldn’t want to play for us. Why would Neymar tell Barca to jog on and head off to PSG? I’m sure it wasn’t because he loves the Eiffel Tower.

Manchester United still has appeal. Both fame and money. We just need a coach that players will want to play for. I’m not sure about Mourinho on that score

Hazard wouldn't leave Chelsea for us in a million years whilst the ownerships at both clubs remain as they are. He's far more likely to win things in Chelsea, he's won 2 league in 4 years there.

If he left it would be for clubs who have the structure and ambition to win the Cl, Real Madrid or Barca. Maybe Juve.

Well we’ve never really shopped for the elite level players anyway.

If you’re talking attackers I’d be happy with dybala and Zaha

I’d be happier with solid players who can progress under a progressive coach

Younger players will be there happy to join if they believe that the club is heading in the right direction.
High profile club, good wages and conditions are very attractive to most youngsters.

We should go for Nabil Fekir . Although he isn't a proper winger . I do feel he will play well in our system . He will probably play as an inverted winger playing on the right side with an attacking right back . Personally the main reason I feel he can be good for us is his ball retention skills since he will always try to retain balls and dribble accordingly . Watching our game play I do feel we need someone who is adapt at retaining and keeping the ball since we lose the ball very cheaply . Also another reason is that he scores a good amount of goals and will probably play the Mata role .

I still cannot believe how long the RW position has been neglected.

I don’t think there is necessarily a top right winger available? A lot of players are the younger more promising types. The likes of Sancho, Pulisic, Bailey, hell even Dembele still fits in that group.

Mahrez was available. One of, if not, the best right winger in the league, and didnt pursue him.

When we bought Sanchez, most, including myself, assumed he'd be played on the right but wasnt.

The players you mentioned are all potential. Mahrez would have been a ready made star, who performs on a consistent basis.

As it is, he's af City, and like you said, we need a right winger.

Out of the names you mentioned, Sancho would probably my choice. Guess its because hes the talk of the town at the moment.

He and Martial on the wings would be a joy to watch.

I quite like the look of Diagana at west ham, if we're looking at potential. Very willing runner and tricky. Will keep and eye on him this season.

Mahrez was the option, but I won’t lie, I didn’t think he’d necessarily have made the step up like he has. So that surprised me.

I also thought Sanchez was destined for the RW, but that unfortunately didn’t come to frutition. There’s still a possibility, with Martial on the left. I think Lukaku will come back into form and take his place up front, so the RW option is still there.

I have heard a lot about Sancho but haven’t watched him this season, some are saying he’s better than pulisic, but pulisic hasn’t really kicked on like he was supposed to, has he?

Either way, there isn’t a ready made RW around at the moment, i know some will say we can’t go for a kid, what choice do we have? Genuine question, who is around who is ready made? Bale? That ship sailed unfortunately.

I would like Zaha back. He's an amazing dribbler and although he can overplay a bit he's unpredictable and beats defenders with ease. Every team needs a player like this.
