Right Winger... Who do we go for?

I've never really seen Sane, but he's very slight. Martial, whilst quick and skilful, has the physical attributes to deal with the EPL. Apart from Bale, who seem's an unrealistic, I can't think of anyone who runs with the pace and power of Martial. Joy to watch when he's in full flow.

Wilson's not a bad shout, though. He's a very powerful runner when in full flow. Like you said, it'd be interesting to see how he got on in the right inside forward position.

You should then. I'd argue that he's physically stronger than Wilson for example. He isn't easily shrugged off the ball.

I think Sane would fill out if he came to the PL where physical strength and power is needed, I do think he's well built now. Wilson needs to get over his niggling injures to get back to his physical best.
The most important thing we have to do to get the best out players like martial and sane/Wilson is playing them wide forwards in a 433 formation.

Some good points here. But Sane isn't as slight as you think. If I'm not wrong, he's about 6ft or close, which is impressive for a pacy wide man. I still think he's the best of the lot but I seriously won't bother as Barca and Bayern are strongly linked.
I really really buy the idea of Wilson as a RWF. I think he can thrive there but he needs to be given a shot. Otherwise let's go all out for Dembele, he can play in almost 4 positions.

Cheers. I guess looks can be deceiving. Sterling, whilst pretty small and pretty slight, is very strong and hard to knock off the ball.

Watching Sane more and more it just looks so obvious he'd be a perfect fit for us on the right hand side. He's a Martial level talent on the opposite side, I'd be happy with us paying anything for him. I hope our higher ups have taken note and that we go all-in for him in the summer, he looks like the missing piece of our puzzle in attack. As it stands though we've barely been linked with him.

Not sure if he's already been mentioned but this could be a potential target if Jose comes...

One of Jose's real favourites at Chelsea and one of the few who didn't let him down this season when things got tough.

Yeah, I like Willian too. Such a hard worker, with so much pace and directness. Great at Free kicks too. It's been a while since we've scored a few of those. If Conte wants to bring Cuadrado back into the fold, maybe he's a possibility, else I really don't think Roman will let him go.

Are we being linked to any right wingers?

Seems like it's only CB's, Midfielders and Strikers in the transfer rumours.

Maybe Mane (even he plays more as CAM), considering that Rooney will play centrally.

It's weird though seeing as we have no true right winger at the moment.

Hopefully the Club is aware it's a position we need to strengthen.

The targets should be Mahrez/Moura/Sane/Bellarabi or maybe even Rachid Ghezzal who i have been very impressed by.

Should be possible to get one of them.

It's not really a right winger so much as a right inside forward we are after I think, in order to develop on what we are doing right now. Apparently we've made a bid for Gabriel Jesus, maybe he can operate there.

We should be looking at the following

Mahrez
Mkhitaryan
Yarmolenko
Payet
O.Dembele
Sane
Willian
Mané

No way are Chelsea selling Willian, unless he forces himself out of the club. Can't see that happening though.

I don't think Griezemann and Mahrez are likely to want to play for us. I know Griezmann is a United fan but what they are building at Atletico is marvellous- their team is already great, and will only get better. Surely you'd rather spearhead a great team's attack rather than our currently bad one? But would honestly love him here. Mahrez could go to Barca if offered, and he is in a team that is better than United already.

Mhkitaryan, again logically speaking, why leave a team that is inferior to yours? Potentially attainable but wouldn't bet on it. He is a great player though, but I thought his best games have come at #10? Not sure, I don't watch them.

Payet, Dembele, Willian could all be likely. But Payet is 29 and he is #10, a position that we have too many players for. Dembele is a really good talent who could go to most of Europe's top clubs, it is possible he could join us but I am not so sure (again, would bloody love him though). Willian, I feel, would rather see how it all is under Conte. Again it is possible though.

Mané's best performances have been at #10, once more we don't need any more players in that position.

Leaves us with Yarmolenko and Sané, both of whom are attainable and we can definitely pay for them. Out of those two I'd personally sign both, purely because we basically have no impact subs.

EDIT: Just realised you didn't mention Griezmann, my bad. But the point still stands and many have said we should go for him.

Tough market but it's the position we need to sort out more than any other.

Can't say I watch enough of the Swiss league to comment but based on highlights Embolo looks like a nice fit as a quick, powerful dribbler.

How do you know? Did he ever say that? If it is based on his brother and his own tweet then I might remind you that Griezmann himself also tweeted on Liverpool matches and he even post a pict of Gerrard in his Instagram.

Oh my bad. I was only assuming because there's a picture of him holding a United shirt, and the tweet about Rooney. Didn't know about the Gerrard stuff. Could be a liverpool fan but I dunno.

I would be very happy if we signed Mahrez. He is a massive reason to why Leicester have done so well this season. If we had him in our team it would transform the right hand side of our attack, plus we love having flair players and he can do that but brings goals and assists too. A bit like when Nani was in good form.

He loves English football for my guess. He watched United game and also Liverpool game.

There are not much available but you never know in the summer.

Some list:
  • Mahrez - We can offer him more money. Though still don't think we will get him
  • Alexis Sanchez - if we get top 4 and Arsenal is out from CL then we will splash any money on him. Arsenal board only cares about making money.
  • Willian - Another option but I doubt Chelsea will sell him since they might lose Hazard to Madrid.
  • Mane - Play as a number 10 but he has the pace and skills to play as a winger though the money that Southampton asked is not worth it.
  • And some other non proven but talented youngsters that the lads mentioned

With the reports of Dembele going to Dortmund, it seems that Mahrez is the favorite here.
As you mentioned, he is one of the reasons why Leicester are going to win the title. IMO Kante, Vardy and Morgan have been also important.
I like fast and direct players like Sane or Dembele. But Mahrez would also improve our attack.

For now, I would be happy with Mahrez. Has everything needed for a quality right winger, and don't thing he would be too fussed to miss a season of the Champions league.

Just found out that Ben Arfa's contract expires this summer.

I'm not going to pretend I watch Nice regularly but he's played 32 games and got 17 goals and 5 assists in ligue 1 this season and apparently been one of the best players in France. Looking at his highlight reels on youtube for this season he still seems to have the pace and dribbling ability of his youth and his successful take-on stats on squawka are fantastic (4.55 per 90 minutes).

Anyway it would be an interesting signing imo. Obviously he'd be a massive improvement on our currently awful options on the right whilst also saving money for other areas. I know an attack of three french wizards like Martial - Griezmann - Ben Arfa playing behind Rashford (or a new forward) would have the potential for some exciting football at least.

According to football manager we should go for some of the following:

Brandt
Bernardo silva
Leroy Sané
Zivkovic
Bentacur
Barbosa
According to my scouts, they have world - class potential :D

Leroy Sane maybe worth a shot but I really wanted Ousmane Dembele.

Same here. I think Sane is a talented right winger but Dembele will be world class. He would be a starter for us (instead of Lingard/Mata), and I guess we can offer him better wages.

He is genuinely great but he was miserable in England and he needs a club with a familial atmosphere.
