Right Winger... Who do we go for?

I know what is Griezmann best position but...

Do you think Griezmann could play as a right winger in a 4231 and be a better option than the likes of Mahrez/Dembele?
I dont see why he wouldn't... Mahrez has been fantastic this season but i still question whether he can keep it up with one of the big boys.
Dembele looks good but he's young and you never know with young wingers. (see Memphis Depay as an example)
So i would say Griezmann is the safest option of the 3 given that he's held his quality for 3-4 years now... But in football you never know.

Its got to be Mahrez. Hes the wise mans choice. I don't feel me need another child prodigy. We gotta have some heads we can rely on. Mahrez has that left foot and silky skills. Noice!!!

Besides Griezmann, Mahrez, Sane, Dembele and Moura. Which others quality right wingers could be available to sign in the summer?

None, you've listed the best option there, after that we are digging into the medicore options.

We are playing 4-3-3 right now and look better for it, Giezmann replacing Lingard/Mata on the right of the front 3 would enhance our attack considerably.

Griezmann has never played RW at club level. I don't know what kind of performances you'd get from him there. He isn't even a winger anymore.
He playsroaming RW for France but we haven't seen any top performance from him in that position yet.

My front of 3 would be Martial-Kane-Griezmann. However, it sounds unrealistic at the moment.

I read rumors about Dembele signing for Dortmund, Mahrez being an Arsenal target and Sane staying at Schalke to continue developing. I hope we can be able to sign a quality winger/wide forward in the summer.

If next season we play with a front of 3, which players would you like to see in the midfield?

I have seen him play there for France and Real Sociedad (mainly in the left with Vela on the right). But as you mentioned, he is not a winger anymore. He is a second striker who can also play as wide-forward and even as #10.

If we play 4231 under a new manager, we need someone like Mahrez or Dembele. I think Dembele has the potential to be world class, unfortunately it seems that he could go to Dortmund. We definitely need a RW instead of Lingard/Mata.

Well if we are stuck with Rooney as the AM in the midfield 3 I guess Blind and Schneiderlin will occupy the base, so I'd like the other #8 to be dynamic and creative, but if we pay the fees touted for Sanches I guess it'll be him.

I thought Griezmann looked comfortable when Atletico put him at RW for a stretch against Barca (Koke moved inside to give them 3 in the middle). He's got everything you'd need except lightning pace, but he's plenty quick.

Put his movement and finishing into the role Lingard is playing for us at the moment and I think he'd be great.

Only ones I can see even arguably being added to that are:

-James Rodriguez (He's not that fast and so is probably more of a 10 but I could see the next manager wanting a RW who comes inside more to help in the midfield battle with Martial playing a Ronaldo-esque role on the other side and while Mata is that type of player too, James is better and younger and might be a rare star who wants to sign with us)

-Robben (they have Costa, Coman and Ribery out wide and Ancelotti/Bayern may rather keep Gotze or even more likely throw Muller out wide so that Vidal and Thiago can play CM in front of a DM like Xabi or Javi Martinez with Guardiola gone)

-Yarmolenko (13G + 9A in 21 appearances this season, even in the Ukranian league that sounds promising, and he's 26 so should be in his prime. Left-footed goal scoring right winger. Has the size to settle immediately in the Prem.)

-Bernardeschi (22, fast and skillful but Serie A wingers haven't been great here. I haven't seen much)

-Lucas Perez (So, he's 27 and hadn't scored more than 6 goals and has played up front all year, but I think he played RW in the past and is left-footed and has looked fantastic whenever I've seen them. 15G + 8A in 30 games for a team barely above the relegation zone is impressive. Played a brilliant chipped ball against Barca today).

-Di Maria (feck. But seriously, if we'd kept him and just stuck him at RW all season we've got 10 more points)

its strange that there is such a lack of quality RIGHT footed RIGHT wingers in the world. It seems everyone just plays the left footer who can cut in from the right these days or you just have the right footer with blistering pace on the right but with very average final delivery.

Who's better: Fekir or Dembele?

Opinions from people who have actually watched them, please. Not just Football Manager stat experts.

The only thing i'd say about Mahrez is that as great as he is, he loses the ball alot and i'm not too sure he would get away with doing that here on a regular basis. The pressure from the fans and the strict management from Van Gaal or Mourinho would slightly restrict him.

Fekir. But it's hardly a fair comparison. Dembele has just started his career and Fekir is 4 years older. It remains to be seen how Fekir does after his injury and whether he can pick up the form he had before his knee injury.

Has Fekir played since his injury? I saw him warming up among the subs for Lyon the other week but I don't think he came on.

Came on as a sub thrice in recent weeks. Not much he could do though, but it's probably the best way to integrate him again.

Yeah gotta ease back in steadily after the injury he had, has he looked like he still has the mobility at least?

He looked rusty, which is obviously not unusual. From my own personal experience, I don't think I should judge his mobility yet, after just coming back from that sort of injury. I've seen players look the same only to get quickly injured again, while others didn't look the same, but in time got their agility back. It's just too soon, I think.

Just read a quote from him on twitter that he dreams of playing for 4 clubs; PSG, Bayern, Juventus and Barcelona.

Stats seem to indicate crossing is low-percentage and doesn't lead to many goals, so having someone who can drive at goal makes sense.

Before his injury, Fekir. I was gutted for him. I will be hard to say given the seriousness of the injury. Fekir is also more experienced but I'd personally go for Demeble here. His pace and direct play is very impressive.

Your not missing much lol.

It was really the last we saw of the 'moyes-era'-Adnan. Full of confidence and flying past players, not by any means to I consider these among his best performances for us but we've really not seen any of that promise since.

I know what you mean.. He got on the field and you watched him in anticipation of something. You get that vibe from the footage.

He was quoted last summer saying Manchester United was a dream club too which is promising.

Any left footed Martial's out there?
Leroy Sane probably the closest left footed player to Martial in terms of ability but having said that I would be very disappointed if Wilson wasn't given a chance there to prove himself, I do believe he has the tools to be a great wide forward. If we were to give up on Wilson then Leroy would be the best option. Lingard or Mata are not the way to move forward, I wouldn't be against getting rid of both in the summer. We still need an experienced player for the first 11 and then look at Leroy/Wilson.

I've never really seen Sane, but he's very slight. Martial, whilst quick and skilful, has the physical attributes to deal with the EPL. Apart from Bale, who seem's an unrealistic, I can't think of anyone who runs with the pace and power of Martial. Joy to watch when he's in full flow.

Wilson's not a bad shout, though. He's a very powerful runner when in full flow. Like you said, it'd be interesting to see how he got on in the right inside forward position.

Think we need to invest, I love Mahrez hes been class but if were looking further afield could try Insigne? Not usually on the right but he Is lightning and had been awesome this season for Napoli.

We need to make Rennes an offer for Dembele they can't refuse. Dembele would light up Old Trafford.

We keep getting linked to CB's, CM's and Strikers but we aren't really being linked to players in this position, I think Ounas was the last one and it was from an unreliable source.
