The way you've phrased it makes it sound as if our will is sometimes directed by god and we simply choose to follow it or not. The moment when you realize it’s just random chance hits you like a brick.Sure, it just felt very jarring coming as the answer to a direct question about why God chose to send him to stop a suicide, but doesn't stop atrocities.
