Very difficult to put together, and I'm not sure if I'm happy with the final list, but from those that I have seen basically since I was born:

Bit of a cheat putting Robson in there as he was in the latter stages of his career when I started appreciating United, but it was still an honour to see him play. I wanted Beckham in there, but I couldn't justify putting him above Ronaldo, despite his longer service for us. Also a struggle to leave out Cole, RvN, RvP, Sheringham, Ole and Yorke - we could do a top 10 list using strikers only. Went back and forth on who to rate higher of Rio and Vidic (difficult to judge since they were at their best together I suppose), and Evra was always a personal favourite - but Scholes is a clear number 1 pick though

Shocked at how poor Ronaldo seems to be doing in these lists, and not even in any of a few.

I found it hard to place him higher owing to how briefly we saw his best - he was with us for six years in total and only half of that was he amazing (allowing for that obvious drop-off in that last season), and for most of that time he was trying to leave the club, so definitely a top 10 player, but I can't place him higher than that myself.

A couple of more seasons would've made all the difference.

Hard to leave out Rio Ferdinand and Roy Keane in terms of being top quality and length of service. While players like Wayne Rooney, David de Gea, Park Ji-Sung, Andy Cole, Michael Carrick, Dennis Irwin, and even Chris Smalling (he's definitely in my top three in our current squad) are right up there for me personally.

Keane would have been higher up if he wasn't so bitter towards the club post retirement. It's difficult to leave the likes of Robson, Law and Neville out but it seemed harder to leave the players in out.
