You could always put one of the newbies in charge of doing a thread down there, just make sure to tell them to keep to your rules and you could even have them do the donkey work of counting it up.

I thought the same when I saw Shutter Island on the first place. Usually it is the favorite choice of people who haven't seen many movies.
