And anyone else that likes good music.

New discovery for the day, some dude from Stockport called Mr Scruff, kind of an Acid/Jazz/Hip Hop fusion and more, great chilled out listening, love it so far.

Try his first album, the one I have listened to so far called Keep it Unreal, I think you will like.

I love finding great new shit that I haven't heard before.

I'm familiar with Scruff Nomes, seen him live twice. Excellent stuff. Great to get stoned to.

PMs sent, by the way (except Spoony, whose box is full)

Cheers for that lad.

He's playing at the Carling Academy in Liverpool on February the 8th, I think I may just go to that.

I haven't been yet but I may be going over to Paris this year so I will go and lay some flowers and probably visit his old apartment.

If you do go, drop me a pm beforehand so I can give you directions to his grave...took me over an hour to find the first time...the cemetary is massive, like a minature city of its own. Incredible place. Check out some of the pictures of it on a Google image search for Pere Lachaise, and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah, you got to go see Scruff live, he does these marathon sets, when I saw him he played for 5 hours and he plays everything imaginable, and it's all class. And he has really cool, funny visuals too. It's a great night

Yeah I've seen loads of pictures of it, are you a big Doors fan then?

I might put the album "Cheap Thrills" in my list by Big Brother & The Holding Company (w/Janis Joplin).

I love Janis' voice.

Wouldn't say I'm a big fan, but I try to go the cemetary whenever I go to Paris to pay respects...lots of other famous people buried there too, such as Oscar Wilde and Edith Piaf.

Janis's voice is unique...her version of Ball and Chain from Monterey is awesome.

Ninja alan - having Refused in there shows that you have impeccable taste - so does The Holy Bible

Hehe, Refused is probably the best hardcore/punk band ever. Should probably have had This just might be ....... the truth on my list as well but i couldn't have all they're albums in it.

Name a better punk band from the last 20 years then.

Well, considering how shit 99% of 'punk' bands are, I couldn't tell you one I liked. I would however point you in the direction of early Fugazi or Minor Threat, although that's not strictly punk but it has been mentioned under the many pretentious guises of punk. Anyhoo, doesn't change the fact that Rancid are atrocious.

I like both minor threat and fugazi. If you don't like punk it's not weird that you don't rate rancid. When is you're list getting posted?
