Murphy playing excellently obviously, although Bingham struggling a bit. Wouldn't rule him out though, but Murphy looking more and more like he'll win it.

Murphy has won 10 out of their 13 meetings. Bingham was always up against it, especially in a match which has a potential 35 frames. Bingham will do very well to come back from 4 frames down even after 12 frames. The Magician is going to have this. Only Ronnie has a better cue action when he is on fire.

Rooting for Bingham here, doubt it will happen, but you never know. It would certainly be a fairy tale.

You'd imagine Murphy will win another one at some point sooner or later, but this will probably be Binghams one and only chance.

Murphy getting a little lackadaisical when he has a cushion again. Needs to get his head back on for at least another frame from the last two.

I predicted 18-11 at the start in Murphys favour. To be honest I'll be pleased if Bingham gets 11.

Bingham breaks the record. Great response from him.

Another great pot from Bingham in the middle bag. He just keeps getting back up off the ropes. If this session ends 4-4 again he will be laughing. Seems set for a Monday evening decider now, even if it does end 9-7 to Murphy.

That's more like it. Deserved lead for Murphy, expected him to blow Bingham away both times he went three frames ahead but all credit to him, he came right back with three frames on the trot for himself. Nicely set up for tomorrow and a great final so far with both of them making centuries and winning breaks when in.

As much as I hate him Murphy's queue arm is dead straight and liquid.

Bingham is fantastic

What a match this is!

He's great isn't he  I don't understand how anyone can not get behind him! He's got balls of solid steel.

I remember a few years ago there seem to be a real concern about the lack of 'characters' in the game but now there seems to a good few. Snooker really has change(for the good) in the last few years.

It really would be amazing if he won this. Genuinely seems like a great guy.

And he looks older than his Dad.

Bingham taking the first frame of the day, all level at 9-9.

When I grow up I want to be Stuart Bingham.

Wow missed this while doing manly things in the garden. Bingo flying and on a massive roll. He's grown on me a lot this tournament. Seems a decent bloke he certainly has plenty of bottle.

He has every chance. Murphy not quite at it.

Robbie Williams -> Graeme Dott -> Ronnie O'Sullivan -> Judd Trump -> Shaun Murphy.

3 former world champions, another finalist and a famous singer. Bingham was outstanding in this WC.

Murphy kinda crap this afternoon, has to win evening session by 7-3 at least. Doubtful.

Oh it's Joey Essex, e's a bit dim innit. Says daft fings.

Get the feck off my screen.

There's been some great potting and break building but it hasn't been very tactical, could have done with more Selby.

Could still see this going either way.

I don't mind the guy too much. He's a bit dim, but he's pretty harmless.

I've just laid £20 on Murphy to win at 9/4 so I can sit back and enjoy whatever happens. 65 nugs if Po Face wins and a lifetime of happiness if Bingham picks up the trophy.

I can't believe what Bingham has done in these last two sessions. Murphy has played some absolute shocking pots and never once tried to play a safety. Bingham has just come in every time and mopped up with a winning clearance. Still think this is going to go close, will be interesting to see how Bingham deals with being the clear favourite in the last session. Really though, he should get his name on that trophy.
