Connection seems crappy, is it me or you?
It's really laggy for me mate, is your connection is always like that? If it is usually better I'd prefer to call this off and try later...
We can attempt to play our game then, to find if it is any better. How about that?
Well I'm playing him now, but it's rather unfair in these conditions, it takes ages to select players and it's hard to play in tight spaces, you have to think everything ahead...
Actually that's a good point. If it's a really laggy connection, then theres no point playing the whole game. Just quit it, and try again later.
Well I'm free now for the Internationals.

I think so too, it is different when there are a couple of laggy period during the game but when the entire games is lagged and slow, then just play it at another time.
Latency was a red bar, I never played like that, it's usually green or yellow. It's not unplayable but it takes a while to get used.

You ignored all my previous posts. Yes you had loads of chances, but your only goal came from a penalty I don't think you would have had with a normal latency. Not the challenge (it was reckless and I was lucky not to have cris sent off in the following challenge) itself but the moment I lost the ball that originated it.

I'm not ignoring anything, you're the one mixing two different issues. One is that I'm not used to play like that, and if you are it's an advantage to you (I'm not the first complaining of lag in games with you). I was giving away loads of balls in the first half until I got used to it. Then I started holding the ball better but still couldn't do shit up front, with this latency unless one decides every step ahead, your defender will be on top of me before I can make a decision.
Regarding your dominance that's another issue and I didn't deny it. I'm not a good player, I never beat a caftard not even in friendlies so I was counting on losing this game, and I think that 9 times out of 10 you'd win with or without latency, so I'm happy with the result of course. I wasn't blaming it for the result, I started complaining about it far before any of us scored.
That said I think I would have a lot more than those two lucky shots if your connection was a bit better, so part of your dominance is artificial and merely a result of you being used to play in a slow connection and other players not. It has happened before, just look a few pages behind on this thread when you admitted it yourself.

It's been going well so far, had a look at International Division and I must say all players in it seem reliable in terms of getting their games played - I base it on a posting ratio in this thread and/or participation in previous tournaments. A few new players in the British division who I cannot account for but hopefully they will get the job done.

I was intending to play with teams from the same league each week, but after enduring slowness of German sides other than Bayern I guess I am going to give up on that idea and just stick to whoever I want.

I have hundreds of hours played so I know how the game works, thing is those hours were all with the same mate so our game styles were very ingrained and when I started playing different people I had trouble adapting to the more effective and cynical style of non-friendly games, the games with my mate were more style and less ruthlessness.
That said I don't usually play this well, Atletico front 4 are extremely quick and effective, perhaps you chose a too slow team for this game.
I prefer the other PS3 tournament, in this everyone is so bloody good!
Yea, aren't they? We played each other in semis of the other tournament which I managed to get to with some really good performances. Here I got two absolute batterings so far and a very lucky win.
If anyone's on for the International League I don't mind closing my participation for the week.
To be fair I didn't expect rain, I am comfortable playing Everton in a sunny weather because they are very good at passing but in rain you cannot pass to much. You played it well and adapted because most your goals came from direct plays, I tried to pass in spite of the weather but it just could not work so I paid my price.
The way people are playing I expect it to be a very close league and fight for European

True, hope no one stops showing and everyone fills their quotas of games, it's easier now that no one played anyone but when fewer games are left to be disputed people will have to be punctual arrange with each other so that every game is played. Hope everyone does it as it will get pretty funny when the league is already composed with a good share of games played.
And regarding the rain as soon as the game started I was already thinking "if I lose I'll whine about the weather as it's more suitable for English teams" (so far I always whinned after every game) but that was needed.
I think I will bring in some extra rules to the existing ones after certain amount of games, there will be a spreadsheet with results as the one you have proposed in the other thread so everyone will know who they have to play next. Playing a game a week, or six games a month isn't really that much so I am hoping people will find time to do that.
