Great result Arruda! I wouldn't have picked Everton Sarni.

I played a few games lately with Zenit, and I am playing well with them... until that game against Arruda where the squads fecked up... because of this I think my next game is going to be with Milan. Maybe Juve, test out some Krasic magic :)

I wanted to get weaker teams out of the way soon but I think I will pick a strong side against you as I really, really need points. I will be there this evening, 9PM your time is 10PM my time so I shall log on then and we will play.

It will be a classic no doubt, you already got 3 points against Arruda so if you can beat me you will have double my tally in half the games. A true six pointer that and for me it's essential to win my next three or four games if I want to stay in the fight for the title.

I'd be but I promised to play vuc at 9PM, so I can't or I'd go past the 4 games a week limit.

Unless you lot feel comfortable about raising the limit to 5 or even 6 games a week. I was thinking about that earlier today anyway. The intention of a limit is that no one plays 20 games in the first week and then waits for the rest to play their games, it basically means everyone will have pretty much the same amount of games to their name and it will look like a proper league all the time. But with 16 players in one division and 13 in the other there are 30 and 24 games respectively to play, and that's a lot - with 4 games limit we will not have the British league played sooner than in 8 weeks, and that's 2 months - meaning we will have to play until mid-June at least, possibly much longer.

If we raise the limit to 6 games, it means first league could be done in 5 weeks and second one could be done in 4 weeks - no one will get bored with it, and with minimal amount of games a month still set around the same quota - though I'd raise it to 7 in British league (possibly international too) because of the amount of players - we will ensure it will be done in circa 4 months at most. Though remember that games a month is flexible, someone who's active or has an explanation will not get expelled or deducted points because they've not played enough.

How do you lot feel about it? Max 6 games a week, min 7 games a month, minimum per week stays at 1. Will give a possibility of finish league games within 4/5 weeks.

Only tip I can think is try another day, last time I had this problem I couldn't play with Ronaldo nº 9 as much as we tried. I'm restarting connection, invite me again when I'm online, if we can't play today we'll try sometime else.

The EA servers aren't up to scratch from what I hear
 
Do you usually manage to play with other people no problem? I took some time checking my modem configurations and my problems vastly improve, but I don't know if this is my modem giving me headaches again or if it's your router/modem.

I don't think it will work out for us. You can try playing someone else, if you can't connect again then you will have to configure your router/modem like I did. Otherwise if you connect fine it's probably my problem.

I've an 8mb connection to broadband.

I've never played FIFA online but play call of duty and other games online no problem ?

I'll check my network settings and we can try another time mate
 
ATTENTION

I've raised limits temporarily because I think with 4 games it will be a nightmare to get 30 games done. It's now at 6, but minimum games per month has raised to 7 (I expect most will play way more anyway).

If someone has something against it, I will switch back to how it was before. I think current one is better though.

It has nothing to do with broadband, but rather with port forwarding etc, FIFA servers give problems with some modems. You should try playing someone else from here, even if just a friendly game to see if you can connect.

If you can't than you should look at the FIFA manual were it mentions firewall and router configurations and you have to forward those ports. To do this with your modem you'll have to seek a guide for it, google can help "port forwarding [model of your router]".

An alternative is seeking a guide to put your playstation on DMZ mode, there are plenty online as well.
 
:lol: It does take me time to settle into a game, I was making mistakes left right and center to begin with. I knew that you were going to cut inside for both goals but still decided to act like a spastic and take ages to get across.

I know we both have the same leg as well but it's bloody annoying isn't it? What are we like a few miles apart? Irritating.

Let's try, sometimes it's just temporary, you might have had a bad connection for a minute with Arruda but it could have been solved. If it doesn't work after a few seconds of the game, we will try again when you sort it out.
 
Ah, I've just seen it's worse than a typical slow connection. Well, PM me when you are ready and we shall play.
