Thats helpful, thanks. Although I think Dortmund are also 4.5. Plus in the update in my game. Man City are 4.5.

You might be right, I saw that on the single player menu, I wasn't gonna leave someone hanging while I checked online, though I thought the updates downloaded to play online would also show in offline mode.

EDIT: I'll fix it, I han't downloaded the updates, they were just loaded for online games.

I'm doomed with the pro's anyway, I have yet to beat someone from the cafe in the about 10 friendlies I already made.

I can't believe i stole that, i almost want to apologise. At least the game started the same as our first attempt with you getting an early goal and then getting a guy sent off. If he'd stayed on i have no doubts you would have won.

:lol: Games are won on goals scored, so you deserved it. This seems to happen to me in literally every game though - go ahead, before bizarre defending that I can't really do much about hits in and I lose. Where were my defenders for the winner? Arrrgh.
 
You were defending really well and i just couldn't believe it when i saw Pavlyuchenko wide open in the middle at the end, your defenders seemd to have just wandered off. My second was a pure fluke, about a million bobbles before landing at Defoe's foot.

Oh and in both games i think your red cards were very harsh, looks like we had Riley in charge.

Now fixed, quite a few changes with the update, all the Netherland teams down a notch, a few Spanish teams down as well, and Santos replacing Porto Alegre as the only non-European team with 4 stars or better :D
 
So there isn't gonna be a fixture list after all? How will you keep the games played in an organized manner? Perhaps a double-entry spreadsheet that you could easily update such as this one so we could easily keep track of who has played who.

Home results for the rows and away results in the columns. (If Player 3 plays home agaisnt Player 2 result goes to the fourth row, third column)

It's a great way to synthesize information, if one for example wants to see "Player X" all results before playing him we just have to see his row and column.

It looks exactly like that and I have it in my Excel file, will be updating it every two or three days on here.
 
You may have already mentioned this, but what happens if it's a draw after 90 mins? Do we have to end as draw or is is both the players choice?

Good game. My first goal was a bit lucky with the cross/shot but using up probably my favorite 4.5 star team in the first game has got me needed to try out other teams. :p

Good game mate, i thought first goal would be offside:lol:, class free kick for the second though. I like playing with Bayern as well, good team to play with. Found it difficult to get any attacks going.

Hold up you played both games with the same teams? I thought it had to be a different team each time?

EDIT: Whoops no you just both posted the result :lol: One of you should delete.
 
Pretty pissed off with that game, I was playing with Bayern Munich online the whole afternoon and was so used to its tactics and starting 11 and now for the league game it shows with a totally different set up that I didn't have time to change. A 60's rated left back I never heard of, fecking Van Bommel, Robben on the bench, Klose instead of Gomez (can't complain about that one though :) ) Didn't have time to change the players, let alone the tactics as I was so confused.

Then I play a friendly with Vuc and my fecking VP player is on the starting 11, something I had never seen before. I guess for unranked games they don't use the updated squads and instead go for the ones stored on my offline profile, which I hadn't updated yet.

Pretty pissed off, great match though, shame I get killed in counters.

I was like WTF where has my formation gone!?

Not too mention, at least 3 players from the team I was playing with earlier were not in the team. Still the goalkeeper I had is better on this updated squad than the previous one..

Good game though, Bayern are strong - I wouldn't have them as a 4 1/2 team that's for sure.

Oh and what a BOMB from Klose mate.

Thing is we were playing with non-updated squads I think, at least I was playing ranked matches all afternoon and those are supposedly the most recent teams.

Exactly, I just confirmed it.

You have to go to [My FIFA 11] --> [EDIT TEAMS] --> [SQUADS] --> [DOWNLOAD UPDATES]

Then, you must save them or they will be lost. Go to [MY FIFA 11] --> [SETTINGS AND PROFILE] --> [FIFA 11 PROFILE] --> [SAVE/LOAD/DELETE] --> [SAVE]

This way the most current squads (the ones you're used to playing online) will be the ones to show on friendly and offline games.

Thing is, everyone has to do this or else some teams will be uneven, i.e., Manchester City might still be 5 stars for some players, others will have their VP's and transfers on, etc...

I still can't get my fecking Virtual Pro off Porto, when I created it I thought it would only appear on career mode games.
