Hmm...decent choice. Probably the only opener with any decent average and some experience left.

Mine's coming up. A lower order bat and i'm choosing between two.

Yes an average of 44.75 is no joke with some of the batsmen that have been going right now!!

Yup just saw the batman movie and got home late. Will go to sleep after the team gb game.

I really think this line up can bat people out of a game, and I also have five full time bowlers and a partnership breaker in Afridi.

This is what it looks like gentlemen.

1. 16 Stretch Vs. 2. 13 MJJ

3. 1 KM Vs. 4. 14 Mightberight

5. 15 Donadol Vs. 6. 5 Zen

7. 12 Crappy Vs. 8. 9 kps88

He isn't - I pick opener Mark Richardson from New Zealand.. Solid and dependable. Average of 45

Meh, If I win a match and can pick another strong middle order batsman, I'll be very happy with the output.

There are two options we have

1. Match off. Winner gets to pick one of the opposing team's player before the next round

2. Match off. Losers' players are pooled and the winners pick 1 from the common pool in reverse picking order of the draw (ie Strech to KM)

Has to be the first option. You should get to pick a player from the team you just beat.

Only 26 tests played so far but I rate this young man. Very nice lower order bat and a useful bowler if he gets over his injuries. Calm temperament, already the vice-captain and a long career ahead of him.

Thats my team done. I'll probably add another bat as my twelfth man to switch around if I come up against a really strong bowling team

1 Graeme Smith
2 Geoff Marsh
3 Allan Lamb
4 Aravinda de Silva
5 Michael Clarke
6 Brian McMillan
7 Angelo Mathews
8 Jeff Dujon
9 Heath Streak
10 Anil Kumble
11 Glenn McGrath

You utter fecking despicable piece of wank *spits*

Well, tbf, the luck of the draw comes out. You have the pool to eliminate that. Give a common pool so that its fair.

I like the 2nd option better. I was really handicapped in the 1st round, firstly by being last to pick a 'genius' and secondly because I had no net access to choose so the 2nd round had already commenced. I'm def for option 2.

Seriously Crappy...thats the best keeper you could find? 27 matches...all his runs against Bangladesh and kept to nobody with any skillin pace or spin.

Because i was bored, i went and counted and i'd have 7 keepers before i chose him and even then i'd probably prefer using Dravid

 I thought exactly the same when I saw Taibu. I'll keep the names off since picks are still left but yes, there are a few great ones albeit at a similar level.

Mmm.. he is not that bad. His dismissals ratio is similar to that of Flower and can be a solid batsman. But seems like people on here don't rate him at all so I will probably use my twelfth pick for another keeper.
