RAWK Goes Into Meltdown - Quadruple Watch 2022/23

I now want a couple of injuries and red cards to Palace-players (while they still manage a point against Chelsea) - and a draw between Tottenham and Arsenal :)

Oh yes and some injuries and red cards to Arsenal-players

i thought it was a rule on this site to not wish injury on players?

We are not challenging for the title Lovely win today but too thin up front, and Rashford can't keep scoring like this forever. An injury to Casemiro or Rashford and our goose could be cooked for top 4 let alone a title challenge.
Klopp had you two games from the quadruple 6 months ago. He hasn't turned into a has been from that height overnight. If anything the new eventual owners should be begging him to stay.

Who the feck is this 'United' supporter?

Do we have a bunch of Americans on the site now or are people genuinely watching that shite for fun?

Hasn't there always been a fair few yanks? But also a lot of people watch the NFL for some reason.

This made me laugh

TBF there'd be nothing funnier than Us and City both having off seasons only for United to lose out on their opportunity of a 'cheap title' to Arsenal.

How delusional are they having not won a normal title in 34/35 years, then considering this season their off season.   you cannot make this stuff up

To be fair in 2023:

City won't have won a PL in 1 year
Liverpool won't have won a PL in 3 years
Chelsea won't have won a PL in 6 years
Utd won't have won the PL in 10 years
(David Wicks was in EastEnders, fyi :p )

To be fair, the Liverpool title win was behind closed doors during a pandemic year so most reasonable fans don't count it. So it should be

I just checked the PL website.

But I'm happy to go with your Facebook friends, of course. I hate the lamestream media as much as you do. Thank God we both avoided the Covid conspiracy jabs.

I was being fair; Liverpool won one season, COVID hit, in 34/35 years. That is the anomaly, the off season.

What are Liverpool fans feelings about the last months of the season? All eggs in the CL basket? (I sense this is the one Klopp and Liverpool fans really want) Or still believe there's a realistic respectable league position to fight for too?

I'm personally not ruling them out the top 4. Newcastle have a good chance of slipping away in the final months as they still don't have a great squad yet and Spurs are always likely to drop points. Would just need to put a few wins together and the table will start to look healthier

I'll add; Liverpool in crisis probably will not win again in my lifetime.

Wouldn’t you have loved to capitalise on city having a ‘off’ year seeing that they absolutely destroyed your only good couple of years where you ever had a chance of winning the league.

liverpool absolutely ‘dominated’ the league for ‘Seven’ years but only won it once. What a shame

2003/04

Wouldn't have guessed it was almost 20 years. Christ that's made me.feel old :(
Mad innit.

If I thought about it properly I could list each winner for each season but if you asked me how long ago Arsenal last won it and gave me a few seconds to answer I’d probably have said 11 or 12 years.

It looks like their 5 year plan is finally paying off.

I saw it on Twitter and it's really funny how we can't be good at the same time which is absolutely hilarious seeing how we're the 2 most dominate club sides in England and yet either we're shit and they're good or vice-versa.

The closest to both of us being decent was from 2005 to 2009 I think but I wouldn't really call them great.

Liverpools 'era of domination' got them 1 league title, 1 champions league and 1 FA Cup.....
United did that in 10 days in 1999.

their plan back in mid 00s was pretty good, but the amount of money that came into the league set them really far behind, and FFP basically is a myth… properly executed and without loopholes, Arsenal were in a great position.

They were never the dominant team. City were always that little bit better.

You missed out on the league cup. The treble winners did not win that :)

Love how they call it Mickey Mouse cup and for smaller clubs when they had a open bus top celebration

1 CL and 1 FA cup. They didnt win the league in the year where even Ballon Dor was canceled. Everyone knew the league should have been canceled but there was too much money involved in it and the media loved the good old story about how something rise from the ashes, as unfair as it might be.

Meh! Suppose it's a positive we didn't get beat.

*edit* I can't believe I typed that.
Hard to believe that was two recent CL winners. Awful game. Not sure there were any positives to take from that really.
Trent just looks disinterested, passing was terrible when he came on
52% pass completion, dreadful. just kept whacking it long everytime he had it looking for the Hollywood ball.
Mid table clash, mid table performances.

Shite
Woof. They could've played a year and still wouldn't score.

We're in trouble.

Reasons to be Hopeful Today #2 - by the evening, Everton could be bottom.....
2 Clean sheets in a row.

Progress
Wow we suck
Absolute garbage.
What a fall from grace.
Awful game between two lousy teams overseen by a shocking referee. Still, could be worse, could be an Evertonian.
This may be the game that has convinced me we won't finish in the top four, particularly since we'll do nothing else in the transfer window.
El Shittico lived up to its name. 2 awful teams slogging it out for who’s fell further off a cliff
Not as bad

Still against that team at home and created nothing. Never in control. Mid table.
Haha what a terrible match that was. Two shite teams clogging away.
El Gashico
Mudryk looks like a proper talent.

Mudryk looks like another Traore to me…..all pace and no end finish.

Not RAWK but 2 Pool fans have told me in the last week they haven't watched this season.

6 months of shite and they've really lost all composure haven't they.
