RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 2016-17 Edition

No doubt they will soon be rich and be able to spend with the big boys - given all the money they are sure to make by partnering with New Balance on a kit deal.:lol::lol:

In case you missed it: that quote was taken from from May 2007 post by the RAWK user (in the link). :D

I liked this one from lower down, for the unquenchable optimism & predictive skills.

Like i said in a prevous answer a couple of days ago give me the European cup any day,and let the numpty long ball hit and rush no skill premiership go suck.We will win it soon under Raffa anyway.Ho and by the way dont forget whats hanging still in the background in the form of a european super league. What will the numpty English Premiership mean if this becomes a reality?Liverpool are more suited to European football than any other English team.Makes you think doesnt it?

Crikey!

Its a post bigging up their beloved Rafa, some of them probably read it 5 times la!!

:lol::lol:

OK, Subject to Audit, we have... I think, went a bit :wenger: towards the end, tbh.

That's him on the left. State of him.

In my defence, this whole thread is where we delve into the minds of these people.

The world is laughing at us for being able to attract Pogba :(
Any sensible club and manager would laugh, tell Juve to feck off, and look elsewhere.

But it's United... And it's Maureen.

You smell that? It's the stench of wounded pride and a damaged ego that is terrified of failure, looking weak and being laughed at.

Such a sweet sweet smell.
They've already gone down this path by hiring Mourinho, a generation of entitled fans who don't know the meaning of the word patience are expecting quick fixes. They will pay it in the end.
Even if he was smashing in 60 goals and registering 150 assists per season, he still wouldn't be worth £145m.

The only way Utd save face now is to publicly tell Juve, and Raiola to feck off.

They'll be a laughing stock if they cave in to these ever changing demands.
Would much rather they got Pogba than James Rodriguez. Rodriguez is a genuinely world class player who Madrid simply don't have room for in their team. I'd hate it if he went there. Pogba is very good but limited by comparison.

Mane rejected us :(

They seem to do this with nearly everyone they buy. I remember them saying it about Emre Can and Markovic, though I can't remember ever seeing any link between United and those players.

They love to convince themselves a player picked them over us. I can't remember United and Liverpool chasing the same target, apart from Memphis. We unfortunately won that one.

It's true that Liverpool don't do quick fixes. More than 6 years since Benitez lost them their spot amongst the top clubs and they're still finishing 8th. Biding their dignified time, clearly.

I love how he still wouldn't be worth the money if he had directly contributed to 210 goals in one season.

Mourinho managing Liverpol? It will never happen. He doesn't have what it takes to manage the most successful club in England. He will have to settle for managing Manchester United. To be honest, he is the perfect manager for your club. You deserve each other, and everything that inevitably follows in a couple of years. Make no mistake, we are absolutely enjoying it, and it is only the beginning.

Is this serious?

They always try and make out they beat us to the average shite they sign year after year. Makes them feel better.

What's really interesting is if you didn't know any better you'd read the way Rawk talks about Utd and think that Liverpool have been doing great recently.

The way they act like we're a laughing stock and they're in a position to lock us. Let's be honest the last 3 years have been shite, no denying that. And yet we've finished above them twice and won a trophy last season. They've won one trophy in ten years.

The last 3 years have been shit for Utd, and yet we've still had a better time of it than them. Do Rawk posters block that part out?

Their posts on Mourinho thread about Pogba are amazing. They all agree in Unison that:

a) Signing Pogba for that price would make united a laughing stock. Pogba is not that special and would fail in mourinho's system. So, they hope we end up signing him.
b) They are desperate for Real Madrid to hijack united's bid and sign Pogba.

Cantona has rustled few jimmies by making this comment on Mane
Cantona said:
Who can blame him for choosing Liverpool? The prospect of an early entrance to the league cup must have been too hard to turn down.

Or maybe he just didn`t want to play for that horrible c*nt of a manager of yours, you know the narcissist, the one who makes it all about him whilst fecking the current club and the current batch of players in the arse to make it all about him and then fecks off after three years once he`s won a trophy or two and leaves chaos in his wake, the one who constantly lies and dresses it up as mind games, the one who abuses female doctors, the one who buys the latest 30 year old ready made player to make sure it`s all about him, the one who Bobby the tout can`t stand, the one who`s rage against Anders Frisk forced the man to quit amongst death threats, the one who called Wenger a voyeur through his fecking weird obsession with Wenger.

You know, this sly little c*nt of a man who hasn`t got the balls to face a another man in a moment of anger and goes for the sly dig from the side........

th

So yeah he may have been really excited about the league cup, alternatively he may have wanted to play for Klopp instead of a vicious c*nt of a human being

Nah he just didnt want to work with your translator. Im enjoying your desperate floundering for a former player by the way..very entertaining...more entertaining than the football you've been producing for the last three seasons....jose will change that for you though..with your shiney new/old midfielder who truly loves your club with such passion he jumped at the oppertunity waving fee's and signing on the double for his beloved yernited who he didnt want to play for but deffo wants to now...not for the money or anything...oh no...not because real madrid arnt forking out...because of love and respect for the biggest suckers...sorry i ment club in t world.
I'm guessing Mane wanted to play under a coach that might actually improve him, while playing in a team that strives to play exciting, attacking football, as opposed to being a Willian-esque right wing-horse in a functional, joyless system like Mourinho's.

Only two I recall are Kewell and Torres although not sure how hot the interest from United was. Kewell likely made the comments about choosing Liverpool to appease fans. United were seemingly in for Duff and/or Ronaldhino that summer (then signed Ronaldo in a shock move). I believe it's been said SAF coveted Torres after selling Ruud but he remained in Spain for another year; SAF signed Tevez the next summer. Not sure how much truth in that and it was different summers so not exactly going for same target.

Ronaldo and Vidic were supposedly on Liverpool radars then United swooped in but don't know if official bids were made. I seem to recall Houllier making claims the club had Ronaldo on the verge of a move for 6-7m then United doubled the offer.

I don't buy this attitude RAWKites have that they'd be happy if United had to pay 100m for Pogba and that it would make them a laughing stock.

Pogba is already a very good player with astronomical potential. I hope United don't get to sign him at all regardless of cost. He might very well turn out to be the worlds best midfielder for years to come so why the hell would I want a rival to sign him. Trying to pretend I would be happy for United to sign him if it cost them 100m pounds is a self defence mechanism borne out of a fake attitude.

Unfortunately I think he will go to United simply because it looks like United can afford to make the highest bid. As a fan of a United rival I am gutted.
