RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 2015-16 Edition

 So true though.

I do think Benteke is a good signing though but I expect his price and the pressure the Liverpool fans and media to put on him will have a negative impact on his performances.
its mindblowing. they were wringing their hands how they mug city for £49m, then just days later £32.5m on Benteke. the money they raked in from Torres, Suarez and now sterling, just wow

It's like I said in the Sterling thread...

For Liverpool fans, selling their best players must be like selling your sports car for an amazing price only to realise that you're getting paid with a voucher that is only valid at Volvo, Peugeot and Renault garages.

They got just less than 40 million for Sterling as well. With QPR getting a lot.

(RAWK Moderator) NEXT TIME I READ "IF BENTEKE DOESN'T WORK OUT" EVERY feckING THREAD ON HERE IS GETTING CLOSED(In the transfer forum).

This signing will make or break Rodgers time at Liverpool though IMO

Locked for the night. Find another site to discuss Benteke, if you feel like making the same point for the 50th time, but this time to a new audience.

Tha's true, they got only about 39mill for Sterling. QPR got 9.8 mill from the transfer.. So spending about 32 on Benteke is a huge risk

Boom bust is actually happening again. They do not give a shit over there, blinded optimism and pure delusion.

The locking of threads because they don't like peoples opinions is so, so odd from a psychological perspective.

Talent is like flour - without the work put in to season, mould and let it rise in the refrigerator, followed by lovingly baked in the oven it will always remain like a moist, cold, half eaten doughnut instead of a fragrant, fresh-off-the-oven croissant.

"I want it to be place at the front counter and priced at the same as those fitting to be consumed by dukes and duchesses", said the young chef to the shopkeeper.

RAWK metaphors and similes are like flour, forever clogging up the sink of narrative like a greasy paste that takes the Cillit Bang of wisdom to say to it "feck off, son, feck off".

How is it empty?

It's empty because I've pointed out that the majority of our transfers were good ones and have already come good or can be expected to. So whether they all fit your definition of 'unqualified success' doesn't really matter. Fact is, we actually did pretty well. Indeed, if Di Maria finds his form this season, it will have to go down as an excellent summer's work.

Ahh good old rawk

padlocks locks, Nazi mods, thread titles in Latin..... what more can you ask for

Well to be honest I'd quite like PoP to come back. Was a great source of delusional ramblings but with extra graphs and simulations.

If they want Firminos children to play for Liverpool then fair enough but no way is Benteke ready to be Holland's assistant manager.

That actually is Marco van Basten now Hiddink got replaced by Blind, who was assistent. Kluivert since 2015 is the headcoach of Curacao :)

I reckon he's busy simulating 10,000 Football Manager games with the new signings to prove Liverpool will walk the league next season. Hopefully a thread detailing exactly that will spring up in the next couple of weeks that will met with cries of 'genius' and 'outstanding work' from fellow RAWKites.

Ah well, it's all in good fun. On a side note it's probably better for the team having MVB though.

I really hope you're right.

With the biggest fish of them all (Benteke

) off the table now, who are United going to sign as their Rooney backup?
