RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

My friend today said that he's rather have Sterling and Sturridge than Di Maria and Falcao. Needless to say he isn't my friend any more.
Of course on paper Di Maria and Falcao are the better players but I would be really happy if they click as much as SAS do. Dont forget Sterling and Sturridge are still very young and their best years are very far ahead of them. So it's not something incredibly stupid to say imo.

Get out.

So Sterling and Sturridge are the SAS now? Atleast it's a downgrade on last year's SAS. Sidwell and Sturridge next year then.

RAWK ALERT: Please don't get into the rawkesque "my united supporting mate said.... something that fully supports the rawk agenda and some more, and proves what we always knew about united fans"

i always assumed this deluded liverpool fan thing was a bit of banter without much truth attached. boy was i wrong, saw a mate i hadn't seen for 3 or 4 years at the pub,(liverpool fan) i asked him about what he thinks of the situation and he's absolutely convinced there going to win the league and we wont get top 4 again for a decade.

Falcao linked to liverpool:

Get this fecking done and the league is ours.

Guaranteed top 4 and a trophy if he signed. That's worth £20m.

World class player, arguably the best finisher in the world. Move heaven and Earth

He scores when he wants.

i nearly came reading that

there will be more jizz than the whole man utd fan base jizzing about jizzyjizz and the jizzters if we sign this lad

jizz everywhere

If we get him on loan with an option to buy, it would be fecking boss.

Come on Carlo, you know you want to keep Di Maria.
Balotelli being the other option makes this even more important...

He's fecking boss, get him in, that should be everyone's attitude, leave the club to worry about money

Falcao after joining united:

Falcao is genuinely the most overrated player in the world

basically he's the Colombian Darren bent

Wtf are underlying numbers?

I'm seeing it a bit like this....

Feck off, we don't want them. Take the oil, whisky and Susan Boyle but please, for the love of feck, don't make us take the Scousers.

It's like the wife wanting a divorce and the husband forcing her to take the old, psycho border collie that stinks of piss.

They should make a new one. SAS was Shearer and Sutton.
How about DSS (Daniel Sturridge and Sterling)

 this will be plagiarised shamelessly by myself at some point this season.

What they've got up front for the next few weeks is BS.

Despite what they have spent this season on "bolstering the squad" they remain a couple of injuries away from a crisis.

We've had injuries and aren't in crisis.

It remains to be seen how you will do without Sturridge and lose Sterling for any length of time and you'll definitely be struggling.

You could say that about a lot of clubs to be fair.

If Sterling kicks on like he looks like he might then this could be a big year for him.

I think their season will be decided by how the new players perform. All about the squad now with so many games.

If United lose a forward and then someone who would play at the tip of the diamond, that logic wouldn't apply.
If we lost both Falcao and di Maria there would still be a distinctive drop in quality, especially as Rooney, van Persie and Mata are in poor form. If anyone loses their two key players it's going to have an obvious effect on performances and perhaps results in most cases.

Having plenty of quality in depth certainly helps though, right. If we lost Rooney and VP we would be fine, one would assume but if Liverpool lost the DSS they would be fecked.

Must be something in it :
It was David STERLING that created the SAS during the second world war, and after his capture, escape and recapture and then being sent to Colditz, it was Bill STERLING that took over command of the SAS

That's not what I am saying though, that's bloody obvious. If Real lost Ronaldo and Modric for a while there would be a distinctive drop in quality. You'd still expect Real Madrid to win most of their games though.

The point I am making is that they are very reliant on Sturridge and Sterling not just for their output but for their approach to the game tactically. You take those two out and the drop isn't just distinctive, it's significant.
