RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

RAWK is the best when it goes full muppet..... But seriously, Vidal/pogba 4th in that list with their midfield..... Yep, gerrard and he do boss Vidal and pogba!!

Of the 'pie in the sky' signings linked with us, I would place them in this order of how much I would want them to be purchased;

1. Varane.
Would dovetail wonderfully with Sakho and hopefully solve our centre back problem and 50 goals conceded is definitely a problem.

2. Isco.
I think teams are going to park the bus at Anfield and we are going find it harder to break them down.
Isco's skill and trickery will go a long way to addressing that.

3. Reus.
Arguably the best attacker in Germany. I just think Isco has more potential.

4. Vidal/Pogba.
Both would be good additions I just think the players above would help us more.

Sanchez is no different to all the foreign players we missed out on, the dippers and every other team in the north that had competition from London. They want to live there and it's a huge priority for these players.

One day I can see City doing something as extravagant as buying a big helicopter and bringing players in from London, just like Anzhi did with all their big players.

So do you think if QPR were interested in RvP 2 years ago, he would've chosen them instead of United? He even left Arsenal.

And yet the facts emphatically back me up, because we had a much worse season than them last season and still conceded fewer goals. So our defenders both look better on paper and performed better last season. I don't see that there's much room for debate left there.
On top of that, I'd like to add that defence starts in attack. A defence with a bad or not working attack and midfield will always look way worse than if they have a working team. So if and when LvG gets our team working again, I think we'll be surprised how good our defenders will look. I'm confident there's more to this squad than we've seen yet.

Scousers accusing us of living in the past will never stop being funny.

Scousers accusing us of living in the past will never stop being funny.

This is the one that always gets me.

We have had a run of 1 bad season following five where we have won the league or finished second on the last day. Now we are a 'mid table club'

Liverpool. on the other hand, have had a run of 6/7th places finishes barring last year, but were always a 'top club' and just coming up the hill.

I understand criticism of our squad, you would have to be blind to think there are not issues that need addressing, but to suddenly suggest we are has beens trading off past glory (like a year ago, when we were champions, winning by a huge margin) is just ridiculous.

I've just read the Borini thread (only from p88) when he is ''potentially blah blah blah'' and now... when he isn't, obv. And it's now (inevitably) a ''great bit of business blah blah blah''.

They're just an ongoing exhibition of how the Nth Koreans might herd sheep innit?

I so hope they average-tastically flop <--- v early doors would be best. <---- after an 'orrible CL Group draw.

I must go and read some Ph***ofPlay postings to try and ascertain how Brendan's cunning plan of replacing Gnasher by buying half the Southampton team is gonna improve things.

It's time to get this back on track and start talking about how fecked the mancs are again.

A shit defense, shit midfield, shit attack. A manager who is a dutch roy hodgson, a poor man's david moyes, who will be playing his famous 6-3-1 & 7-3-0 at their shithole of a ground until he gets sacked just after Christmas.

Add then they have their delusional fans living in the past, who can't come to terms with being a mid-table club. Put all this together and we have all the recipes for another entertaining season from them. Sit back and enjoy the carnage.

I could go on, but i think that'll do for starters.
They indeed lived up to their reputation of being delusional/total denial when they keep thinking and talking like this. I almost pity them. NOT.

They now think the only way to beat them next season without Bitey and his scumbaggery is:

"Basically, you need to play dirty, play the scumbag way if you want to beat us. Only a small number of teams can beat Liverpool toe to toe, without parking the bus, like Man city, that's it."

Borini has rejected the move to Sunderland apparently. I think he knew that he wasn't worth £14m.

on Suarez leaving:

funny seeing the oppo fans and media running around saying without Suarez we'll struggle. I guess they missed the stats that showed we were more effective without him last season.

no surprise mate, Brendan Rogers, FSG and Liverpool fans in general are light years ahead when it comes to statistical appreciation. One of the few clubs that don't think moneyball was invented by Brad Pitt. Hint: tactics are not breathe mints

So statistically Liverpool are a better team without Suarez, and their young modern, dogs bollox guru manager, who understands tactics and statistics more than anyone else, still decided to play Suarez, even though they were better and would have won the league without him. No wonder the scousers are glad Suarez has gone, bet they were willing to drive him to barca themselves....

Only played him to put him in the shop window.

 Scouse logic.

No, it fecking isn't

It's got bags of potential. Sturridge was the leagues 2nd top scorer, Markovic is a quality player, Lambert is a good plan B, Remy is a very good backup option, Sterling has mental potential. Borini is decent, was good for Sunderland, but he'll probably be sold.

It'll terrorize most PL teams. Tons of pace and creativity. No 'big name' player but lots of potentially excellent ones and Sturridge developing in to a striker in that category.

Terrorized by potential.

Second top scorer in the league. / top scorer of players still left in this league in Sturridge.

Excellent performer last season in Sterling.

14 goals for Newcastle in Remy.

13 goals and 10 assists for Lambert.

Excellent performer for Benfica in Markovic.

Quite fecking obviously I was saying that they are already good as it is and have potential to be bloody brilliant. There are plenty of sides that will be terrorized by that frontline. It has a ridiculous amount of pace and fluidity about it. I dislike Liverpool and hope they utterly fail but they are correct in saying that is a strong forward line, very strong indeed.

Yes. I have covered that.

Excellent performer last season in Sterling.

Excellent? No. Good, though.

14 goals for Newcastle in Remy.

A good deal for Liverpool.

13 goals and 10 assists for Lambert.

Yes, I have no doubt that Lambert will be key.

Excellent performer for Benfica in Markovic.

Not even going to bother arguing with you because you clearly have some major bias going on as a rival fan. Anyone looking from a neutral standpoint can see the ability of those players. I never said Lambert will be key, but he's clearly a good player and a very good Plan B for any club to have. You can't have a team full of stars.

If you don't think the likes of Markovic, Sterling and Sturridge have great potential then what is there to say really? Most clubs would like Remy/Lambert as their backup options as well. Remy's better than Welbeck that's for sure.

Maybe "terrorized" is an over exaggeration but if I was a Liverpool fan I'd be excited by those attacking options and they clearly do have great potential. To say otherwise is just deluded.

It depends on Sterling/Markovic's development and whether Sturridge has the capability to lead the line as the main forward and do it in Europe. We will see I guess, anyway this isn't the thread for it as its a thread for you guys to laugh at Liverpool fans but all I'm saying is I see why they are optimistic. Could go horribly wrong if they use the scattergun tactic like we did to replace Suarez though.

"Hint: tactics are not breathe mints "
:lol::lol::lol::lol: Basically how to look incredibly dumb by trying to be smart

Aye, we saw examples of great tactics last year when needing a draw vs second string Chelsea at home they lost 2-0 by playing gung-ho without the final ball and then let a 3-0 lead slip vs Crystal Palace. Tactics for you.

You could paint any manager in world football as tactically inept by singling out certain results. It's nonsense given what Rodgers has done.

We didn't go around calling Rodgers tactically inept. Yes we know that it can happen and has happened to best of managers, multiple times but if Liverpool supporters go on telling everyone that their manager and team are experts in tactics and play the most intelligent as well as beautiful football ever and everyone else are shite then they will be shown facts on how they screwed up at most important juncture till now of their league history in premier league era.

It's downright stupid of us to just laugh away Rodgers' potential just because he manages our rivals. And it's stupid to deny his contribution to Liverpool's recent success. We're not laughing at Rodgers and we're not laughing at the people excited at seeing him at work next season.

We're laughing at the people comparing him, hell, having him exceed people like Mourinho, Wenger, even Fergie in their mind just because he got second this one time.

Hence the banter.
