Seriously never understood this 'dig', genuinely. What even is 'playing the victims'? Please tell me how millions of Liverpool fans around the world react differently in times of adversity to other human beings *awaits Chelsea/Heysel comment*.

It probably has something to do with the fact that no Liverpool fan in recorded history has ever admitted that they lost a match because they were worse than their opponent. It's always the fault of the ref, the FA, the pitch, the cheating opponents, UEFA, FIFA, the Dark Lord Frogie, the illuminati, Sky, Rupert Murdoch's left arsecheek... Liverpool are just the victims.
It wasn't meant to be an insult, just an observation, they seem to thrive on being the victims in life.
By the way, I can't believe you are comparing what happened at Heysel to Suarez getting banned for a few months!

To be honest, the FIFA ban is a blessing for Liverpool.
Otherwise they would need to make the hard decision of implementing their own ban, how long to ban or simply be weak and desperate and pretend nothing's happened.

I've missed most of this supposed scandal. Am I right in thinking that the recent events boil down to illegal performance enhancing drug users like Maradona pretending to act like a moral compass, and an entire nation of Suarez supporters saying that his human right to play football is being violated for doing something that, under the rule of law, can be classed as common assault and therefore should have resulted in a criminal conviction and possible jail time instead?
And then there's the ex-girlfriend analogies.
Most of them have a lot of experience inside the courtroom

Racially abused Evra, fined and banned for 8 games ( 6 months after ban, gets new contract and no doubt payrise)
Bites Ivanovic, fined and banned for 10 games (agitates to leave pool, ends up with bumper new contract?)
Bites Chiellini, fined and banned for 4 months ( agitating to move to Barcelona where another big payday probably awaits)
It does seem like his despicable behaviour seems to end up with him getting bigger contracts!

someone posted a quality video of Suarez a while back, that showed about 10-15 separate stamps. None of them collecting a red card.
He has to be the dirtiest player who's ever played in England to have never been sent off
Out of curiosity, I wonder how many Liverpool fans still genuinely believe Suarez was hard done by in the Evra incident? Had a glance through RAWK and I saw a few comment still suggesting that Evra was in the wrong. Struck me as a bit odd as they've obviously seen evidence since that Suarez is a lying bastard who comes up with ridiculous excuses. Plus they must have noticed that pretty much everyone else accepts Suarez did it. I mean I get that fans can be very blinkered when it comes to their club and players but that really seems excessive...

He's intentionally trying to injure players. Pure scum.
Obviously his actions are bad enough, but it's the way that he always pretends to be injured after committing vicious play that really annoys me. I'd love to see him in 10% of the pain that he fakes.
I've watched that clip quite a few times over the past few months and I simply cannot understand how/why he's attempted some of those "challenges". Yes, some seem innocuous enough and probably not deliberate, but the assaults on Ivanovic (not even counting the biting incident) are as premeditated as they come. The snide stud-raking on the Achilles on several opponents is also such a bastard thing to do.
He's a gimp.

They're only going to get more delusional with time. They spend longer forgetting the actual incident and stewing in the indignation of their own kind, all the while adding new things to their conspiracy theories and writing more poems.

Suarez is mental but the desciption is accurate. He tries to win at all costs, using all the dirty tricks. Not something that people should praise him for, but cheating is becoming more tolerable in every aspects of life.
I'd say thats spot on. He's like a wild animal who wants to win at all costs, occasionally irrespective of common rules and norms.
It doesn't explain the completely needless and unprovoked kind of stud raking you can see in that video.
