RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2012/2013)

Brendon has really become one of their own, hasn't he?

Used to think he was a decent guy.

You have to be bitter and odious for Liverpool fans to like you. It's been proven time after time. It's why they hated an honourble man like Hodgson who refused to sink to their level.

Rodgers is doing everything right* in his current job. It's just an act.

*Oh wait, I forgot about the results on the pitch.

Probably right.

Hodgeson wasn't behaving like a Liverpool manager then.

He admitted their faults, and dared to suggest mid table was about what could be expected of the team he had.

After the same number of games, he had an identical points record to Rodgers interestingly enough.

But Rodgers plays the game 'we can get 2nd' , 'it was the refs fault' , 'everyone hates us' , Johnson/Suarez/shiela the canteen lady is the best striker/defender/microwaver in the world, universe and multiverse.

Results dont seem top matter to the rawkites, its all about having a cult leader.

probably because they are a bunch of cults.

Absolutely spot on.

They love the victim thing/conspiracies/etc more than winning imo.

I too said recently Liverpool these days are like a cult club.

What else can they cling on to?

They're nowhere winning the league, nowhere close to even top 4th, they don't have the squad to wank anymore, what else can keep their sanity intact other than victim/conspiracy thing?

It's the only thing that's keeping them alive, to live in delusion

I reckon you could place quite a good bet on Liverpool to finish in the bottom half of the table this year. They really are shocking at the moment.

Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton (and that one must really hurt) are all a lot better than them, so the very, very best they can hope for is to finish 7th, and that's looking well beyond them at the moment.

They're just a very, very mediocre team, that are doomed to mid-table finishes for the forseeable future.

Bitterness / victim mentality / conspiracy thinking, all cloud over the fact they are a mid table club now.

Must be a hard pill to swallow that fact.

He is a big WUM who replies to posts in a certain way on purpose so he can get into the RAWK Meltdown thread on RedCafe.

That's probably the least unlikely of their conspiracies.

It's the only way he can get onto the mains. Rumor has it that he has had 5 or 6 attempts at the newbie system and has given up after a couple of banning's.

The original pantomime villain.

So, according to OPTA’s ‘Dribble’ Stats for the season thus far, Goalkeeper Reina has two dribbles against his name, compared to Attacking Midfielder Henderson who has zero dribbles.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry?

:lol::lol: and then

Round table up

LOCKED.

I don't take pleasure in Liverpool's demise anymore, it's like watching someone you despise slip on a banana peel, you laugh but then he falls off the stairs and breaks an arm, looks at that arm and thinks, "Jesus that's a pity, that was a decent right arm, I'll miss that." Then, as the arm slowly heals and the cast is about to come off, thinks "Can't wait to have that arm back, it's the best right arm in the world, la."

Fixed.

oh and.....Liverpool?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha

I wrote three pages or so back that because of recent catastrophic decisions by the club I imagine there were a (very large) number of fans (myself included), who thought wow that is one big fecking gamble there with the Rodgers appointment instead of keeping KD, bringing back RB or appointing a FC-type proven Euro-pedigree winning manager - as an owner I would have looked to bring in someone who could get the best out of all that money I'd just spent; if someone came along and said they would need a few years and lots of new players to play a new system, I would have said thanks but no thanks at the interview.

No wonder. That is possibly the longest sentence I've ever seen.

Happy Hour at RAWK:

Watches...I hate watches. Sorry lads but if I am having a great day everything going great I never look at the bugger but if its the worse day from hell its all I look at. Just an anchor around your wrist reminding you of the sentence sorry time that you need to serve.

'The clanging chimes of doom'

Even Cruyff took a few years to get Barcelona playing "tika taka" well enough to win La Liga and then they won 3 or 4 in a row.

I really feel in 4 years a squad with Suso, Sterling, Shelvey , Lucas, Allen, Borini, Coates, Henderson, Kelly, Lucas and Enrique all still under 30 could become boss as feck with one continuous manager.

I'm surprised that post didn't mention that Pacheco guy. Wasn't he supposed to be their next golden boy not so long ago?

Suso and Sterling? They look good from the little I've seen.
Lucas? He's a good player, not the reincarnation of Jesus Christ that most Liverpool supporters would have you believe him to be but still, a good player.
Shelvey? I don't see him amounting to much.
Allen? Yeah, he'll become ''boss as feck'' if boss as feck means a middle of the road player who's tidy in possession.
Henderson? The vanishing man.

The rest? Meh.

So the 'next year' has now changed into 'next 4 years'. They are making progress.

Have they had any problem with the propaganda sky have been spreading on their financial report today which shows they are comfortably placed 3rd for money spent since 2006?
