To be fair to them if the won today they would of been 4 points behind Chelsea and 2 points behind Everton in 4th so they would of been in the race for 4th, not really that much of a stupid comment.

They were never going to get near 4th place this season.

Magnificent again today. feck off, lots of talk, no fecking substance. Benefit of the doubt is done, just doubt now, rind me why Kenny got sacked again?

I agree, bring back Kenny.

Not shit stirring here and I appreciate that he's not perfect, but cant help feeling that having Andy Carroll in there today would have made a huge difference for us. If not to get on the scoresheet he would have created some space for Suarez and co who had none whatsoever today.

Bring him back too!

They'd of been 2 points off it if they won today, that's quite near...

I agree their fans got carried away with it all and they'd struggle without Suarez scoring but if he could of maintained his goalscoring form I don't think they'd of been that far away. That 4th spot is there for the taking and they had just started playing some decent football and getting a couple of results before today.

Brendan has my total, complete support, but he needs to have the support of people who aren't expecting us to drink champagne on lemonade money. This result today is typical of where we are right now, in need of complete, total reinvestment.

How much has BR spent since coming in?

Only caught a few minutes of 606 tonight, but it was long enough to hear a scouser saying the owners "have bought a Rolls Royce, but are getting it serviced a cheap garage by a trainee".

Edit, he then elaborated that Brendan Rodgers was the trainee, and they need someone like Mourinho.

Personally don't think you blame BR much for this season's result apart from the absysmal mistake of not securing another goalscorer.

He had to take over from Dalglish's very expensive tenure.

Around 27mil so far.
Allen, Borini, that reserve team striker from Germany.. yep. abuot that much.

And that is without counting the ~5m loan fee and 100k wages they are paying for Sahin.

Thats a lot for a europa league, mid table side.

They should have took a loss on Carroll. West Ham offered 17mil. Carroll didnt want to sign for them but ended up going on loan.

They should have took the 12-15mil they probably would have got from Newcastle and invested it in a goalscorer.

But overall you have to question Rodgers if he is behind the likes of West Ham,Norwich,Stoke.

When Brendan Rodgers said he thought the Scouse could finish second I didn't realize he meant in every game.

After seeing Villa again, I'm going to up my prediction.

We are going to win this game upward of 4-0. I suspect 5-0, although 6-0 wouldn't be an unreasonable prediction. Villa are easily the worst side that I've ever seen in the top flight in decades. They are abysmal all over the pitch. No cohesion, no belief, no guts, no ability, no desire.

This, my friends, is going to be an absolute battering come the weekend. Villa are going to get absolutely pounded into the floor.

This will be the easiest game that Brendan Rodgers will ever have for this club.

Our fans are disgraceful, I mean some of the worst in the country. The 2 fellas who sit next to me (STHs) left after 48 minutes, 48 fecking minutes! Fans around me booed at full time, I heard fans calling for Rodgers to be sacked, someone even shouted 'do something, David Brent'
.........

I don't take pleasure in Liverpool's demise anymore, it's like watching someone you despise slip on a banana peel, you laugh but then he falls off the stairs and breaks an arm, the moment he is up someone walking by just stabs him, by that time you stop laughing because he probably needs an ambulance now.

You don't call the ambulance though.

Except the person you don't like is Hitler or something and you don't really care that he was stabbed because he was an arrogant, deluded jerk.

Yeah like that but if all the way down they keep saying "I'll be elected President of the World in a second hang on give me a moment"

he has actually done a very good job with a crap team. And the goalscoring thing isn't really his fault - he told the board who he wanted, and they failed to get him.

Just wow. This fool has got to be the songle most embarrassing person in the entire internet.

Was just watching MOTD and couldn't understand Rodgers suggesting they should have had a pen for the shirt pulling on Agger when Agger was shirt pulling himself in the same incident

Anything their players do is perfectly within the rules, anything done by an opposition player is clearly contravening the rules. Once you grasp this concept it becomes easier to understand them. It's known as "dipperlogic", leading proponent of this branch of logical thought is a very sad individual known as AndyOfAllerton, RAWK is populated with his disciples.
