Suarez is the best in EPL according to Carragher.

"I’ve said for 12 months now that he’s the best player in the Premier League because he’s maybe not playing alongside the kind of players that, for example, the Chelsea players can play alongside," he told The Liverpool Echo.
"He’s one of the best players in world football and we are delighted to have him. He does things in a game that we see him doing in training on a daily basis.

"There’s always that question, I think being asked unfairly, of whether he scores enough goals, but isn’t he the top scorer in the league at the moment? And that’s in a team that hasn’t won that many league games this season, don’t forget."

AKA he's the best player in the league because the rest of the team is shite. Flawed logic if ever I saw it, but at least he recognises his team is bollocks.

He's the best player because he doesn't play with the best players?

Well, he is right, in a way. Suarez's productivity would be much better in a team like Chelsea's considering he will get better service and more players up to his wavelength. But that said, he isn't the best player in the PL.

He would be in the top 7 or 10.

Not in any order but among the others would be
Van Persie
Rooney
Carzola
Hazard
Mata
Silva
Kompany
Toure
Bale

I can easily see him in these bunch of players
 
Like idiots through the decades, he's missed the fact that Suarez being their main man helps him score, and helps him look good. Everything goes through him, no-one else is likely to do much goalscoring, he never gets left out of the team when fit. Put Van Persie in his position and he'd probably have scored more by now.

He's top 10, but not top 5.

There's do denying that Suarez is a good player who at the moment is in form but he's not the best in the league for me. He's up there though, even if he is a massive racist twat.
 
Of course he's the best in the league! I'm shocked at some of you guys, how can you not admit it? He's probably the best in the world as well, better than ronaldo and on par with messi, playing alongside some of the greatest talents to ever grace this game called football.

Best Keeper - Reina
Best Right/Left back - Johnson
Best Defender - Agger
Best Midfielder - Gerrard
Best Young talent - Sterling, Suso, Wisdom

On the very imminent rise to worldclass stardom
Best since Xabi Alonso - Joe Allen
Best Loan deal ever - Sahin

Not to mention other world class players like skrtel, downing, henderson, carroll etc (too many to list, very scary)

Wow what an assemblage of best players. They're so great I'll be shocked if they don't overtake us and win the league this year.

Van persie last year(in a similar position with arsenal) scored 11 goals compared to saurez's 8. Van persie was also playing in a better team so it can be argued that they had similar stats or saurez stats are better. Who are the other 9 strikers that you would put ahead of him?

Football doesn't really work like that though. Players often go to a better team and struggle to do as well even if they're playing with better players.
 
did anyone else notice when suarez scored (the tying goal in the chelsea game) and ran to the corner to celebrate, when he turned around no one was there to celebrate with him.

This is so, so true. Last season, I think it was, I read that many Liverpool supporters believed they had the best startin 8. Reina in goal, of course, Agger AND Skrtel (how the f*** did he win player of the northwestern region?), Johnson, Enrique, Gerrard, Suarez, Downing :lol:

Oh, and they had the best manager :wenger:

Just for the point of being exact, it was the greatest player of all time in place of Downing. Lucas fekking Leiva.
