RAWK's resident Manc, Johnnowhite, gets offended by reports that United fans were chanting about Hillsborough. He then goes on to insult our manager (who he seems to think could stop it overnight by mentioning it in the programme notes or something).

No I know you're not but fecking hell does it make my blood boil that it remains unaddressed. I go back a long way with my club - well before he came - so bollux to all his achievements - he's not fit to wipe Matt's arse when it comes right down to it on the people front.

This twerp does so much sucking up to the posters there that I sometimes think he's an invention of theirs. I remember him talking about Kenny Dalglish as having dignity or class or some other nonsense. I wouldn't be surprised if he's that lunatic who was quoted in a thread the other week, talking about how he wanted Schmikes to let in goals in the CL Final. He is cut from the same cloth anyway.

I read earlier in Q's post that Kenny has donated his contract severance to the transfer fund. That can't be right can it - when the ONLY beneficiaries will be the fecking bastards that SACKED THE LEGEND?? There must be many many other causes - linked to the real Liverpool fans - that any money Kenny declines to receive could go to.

It's an extraordinarily generous thing for the unassuming and highly principled man that Kenneth Mathieson Dalglish truly is to do.

In the teeth of such shameful, barefaced back-stabbing disregard by his former employers for ALL that the man has done for the club and all that he is and yes, all that he will remain to the real terrace owners of Liverpool Football Club - he has shown how the possessors of real class behave.
The PLC has outrageously banished a legend but KMD is locked into the hearts of the TRUE followers of Liverpool Football Club - the old-style FANS - and they will NEVER forget.

That Johnnowhite, he's a stooge for sure. Most likely a second account of one of the many looney staff members is my guess.
 
These Hillsborough chants?

Why was nothing audible on TV? Why are there no youtube videos? No media reports from the newspaper reporters who were there?

Seems to have stemmed from a single rumour on twitter and in their desperation to be offended, LFC fans have repeated it ad infinitum and embellished it along the way.

It would be nice to see some proof.

There were videos in youtube. I've seen it. Fans were all singing and the players joined it. Fletcher and John O shea I think were about to sing the line and realised what they were doing and didn't sing the 'Without killing anyone' and joined for the rest.

Maybe i'll see if there's a video of it around.

On the topic though, JonnoWhite or whatever he is, he seems like a total suck up. Apparently, he's been supporting United for long, but there are about two things he does in that site. He posts in the older people thread eulogizing and slating United. From Martin Edwards to Gary Neville. That's all he ever does. But somehow things go rosy when he starts talking about Liverpool. Like how Martin Edwards was a money stealing gobshite but David Moores was old school, built the right way.

I don't know all of this, I was told by a friend of mine who usually lurks around RAWK threads.

I deleted my post because I remembered there being a clip (I think it was on the season review). Some players were singing along with the fans, but like you said they stopped before singing the "without killing anyone" part.

People on RAWK state as a fact that a large group of players were singing "without killing anyone".

I'm going to find the season review now and get a clip of it.
 
Aye, I'd bet my bottom dolla dolla bill on that Johnnowhite being a Liverpool fan. It's just so insanely rawk that it could be true. This is the same site where people create and type up entire conversations they had with imaginary United fans, and where actual mods make two accounts and have conversations between them.

Sorry Olly. I was most confused when I couldn't find your post in the page and I thought I was mindfecked for a minute. You are right, and also there's no youtube videos anymore.

Liverpool fans are crazy, Youtube videos or otherwise, they'll somehow swear that Fergie started the chant.

Well, I was only replying to Olly's post that there were no videos of that incident. The video isn't clear anyway. For that line, they only zoomed in on Fletcher and JOS (I think) face and it's possible that other players were singing it. Either way, I can't recollect it and I can't see a video of it in youtube.

I'm happy to be corrected of course.

I was quite surprised at the amount of moaning that was going on between the players. Some communication issues for sure. A couple of times Suarez turned around and copped a spray from Gerrard.. :lol:
