RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

But is there a thread devoted to "united" on RAWK? One with 100,000 minutes?
This thread will never stop. It can't because mancs will never ever have the willpower to not post about LIVERPOOL FC.

The Man United Obsession Thread AKA The RAWK Losers Thread

293 posts about Man United in three days. Took us a few weeks to get that many posts in here.

Guess scousers don't have the willpower to not post about MANCHESTER UNITED FC.

Huge shame that 90% of Premier league teams don't have the guts and bottle of Basel.

This

Yeah, that's very true, as we saw Basel constantly had us on the back foot, at times leaving no defenders back, at no point in the game did Basel have 9 players behind the ball. They really showed guts and bottle, those Rooney horror misses and the crossbar rattlings, all down to Basel having guts and bottle.
And then Wolves on Saturday, showing no guts and bottle, coming with a 442 with two strikers and out and out wingers, pathetic, had more shots than Basel too but yeah no guts and bottle, just bent over, like all Premier League teams.

Bent League.

Folk aren't happy at RAWK about Chelsea's win against Man City. For one, Chelsea's win shoots them up to 3rd in the league, where RAWKites think they deserve to be. And secondly, Man City are now just 2 points ahead of the evil Manchester United. And we know how good our lads are at smelling blood.

Don't let the referees win!

LAST CHANCE TO STOP MANCS WINNING EVEN A RAFFLE.

So, our favourite Red Mancs will be top of the league at 2pm on Sunday. Marvellous.

Silva gets the pen and they go 2-0. All different

Refs. Again

But when Liverpool beat Chelsea, it's all above board and "the best team wins". Obviously.

Love the refs conspiracies over there. I'm guessing that there's no mention of the fact that if the ref didn't screw us over against Newcastle then we'd be joint top by now?

Exactly what I was thinking when I was reading the bitter shite on there tonight.

Even funnier than City losing is Liverpool fan's reaction to a team losing that isn't Liverpool, and isn't even a team playing United in the lost game

do they realise this result bring them closer to city as well, wierd cnuts.......they are so scared of the possiblity of united winning the league..

Wait, didn't they decide they would all support Chelsea? Now they're angry that Chelsea won against a team other than themselves.

Wonders will never cease. You'd think they'd want to keep the number of teams who've won more PLs than Liverpool down at four... instead of three other NW teams having more PL titles than them... an odd bunch.

A supporter who feels that his team is a title challenger would be happy to see the league leaders drop points. This amuses me greatly that they've already given up on their own league campaign and are, yet again, out to see us not win it rather than win it themselves.

I pity Andy's wife / bf / blow up doll after an evening like this

Andy is just a massive WUM.

In the lead up to the United Vs Liverpool game he even made a post about how he has begrudging respect for United and SAF.

I wouldn't take his posts too seriously at all. RAWK posters find him funny so he plays to the crowd.

Or, actually, they are realistic enough for a change to know they are not title challengers and that nothing will change that. Not this season, anyway.

Same can be said many times about our fans.

Bollocks! We use this thread to laugh at the poor, deluded sods. But I don't hate them, because "hate" is such a strong word and I haven't got the energy to "hate" someone because they support a different fecking football team to me.

But some of the stuff they come out with at RAWK is shocking at times. They are so pumped up with anger, hostility and bitterness that it does provide us with entertainment every season it seems.

Seeing Man Utd win title after title for nearly 20 years has really messed with their heads.

Rawk is shocking no doubt but many times I have seen here have chosen "Liverpool losing than us winning in few matches" which is disgusting imo.

Few of them only but still shameful.

They have now been fans of almost half a league of teams

Leeds in 91/92
Villa in 92/93
Blackburn 93/94
Blackburn 94/95
Newcastle 95/96
Newcastle 96/97
Arsenal from 1997-2005
Chelsea from 2006-2011
City 11/12

They took a year out in 08/09 to give themselves a rest from supporting other teams, but then went back to familiar ways when Rafa derailed them in 09/10

I've never, ever witnessed this at the Caf - you're talking out of your arse.

The other game was against Liverpool. Guessing because it wasnt a FK.

I predicted that they (Manchester United) would try and find a way back into the competition (Champions League) once they had been turfed out.

I predicted that they would probably succeed and be backed by UEFA in their aims. (Kerching).

Not sure if I posted it on here though? Me and my mate were talking about it in the pub the other day when we went out for a pint - I think it may have ended up on here, but maybe not.

UEFA are panicking with so many 'big names' out of their shitty compo that they'll be scratching around for ways to get the 'interest back up' nailed on.

I like this guy's reply:

Firstly, there is no evidence which suggests that they (as in Manchester United) have been trying to find a way back in. None. Hence accusing them of such is nothing more than small time pettiness to be honest.

Secondly, the story is completely and utter fecking ridiculous.

Thirdly, please tell me that even you, despite your subscription to all Manchester United related conspiracy theories, aren't as mentally warped enough to actually believe such a gargantuan stock pile of absolute steaming bollox. Because if you do, then there really is no hope for you, is there?
