RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

More a 'Laugh at Liverpool' thing really - but worth it to add some humour...

Good to see that 'dinner conversation' bonding is working out so well for them:

"We've got a great togetherness about the squad, there's a lot of British players there now," Jamie Carragher said last October. "We went for a meal out before the derby and it was interesting that my wife could actually talk to some of the other wives without having to think of something in Spanish or French or something different. I think that will be a great thing for us this season."

So it wasn't a sending off offence? Perch's reaction made it so?

It is not up to Perch to decide who gets away with what. That is why we have referees. Perch cheated to get a fellow pro sent off. You are not only fine with that, you actually support it. I find that odd.

No, Reina got himself sent off for acting like a twat. Also i reckon most players would have went down, I don't believe it's right by any means but it's so common an occurence in the modern game with feigning injuries and playacting. Perch rightfully got a yellow for it, and Reina got a deserved red.

No one is arguing the red card at all.

I think Perch was booked for the initial trip, rather than the gay overreaction.

Got the link from RAWK. And they say Everton are small time. :tlol::lol:

Bloody hell, Kenny's got more hair colours than wins this season...

Anyway, they are still looking on the bright side at RAWK.

Trying to look for a shed of silver lining from the game...

I'm really hoping the reaction he got from the Geordies will give him a massive point to prove going forward. Gutted for lad for the reception he got from them, but maybe that will curb any thoughts in his head about going back ect. I really hope that spurs him on now to start thinking "I've got to make this work, I've got to do it at Liverpool" - Who knows, it could be the wake up call he needed...Or I'm just being hopelessly optimistic again with the big number 9.

Either way the game was horrendous.

Wait, what? He has a much better chance of being a starter at Liverpool than at Newcastle, that's for sure.

Adding that info to a program you're already printing is miles from making a commemorative mug for a game you haven't even played yet.

What if it's a disaster?

It's not making the mugs. It's the mugs that buy them. People will always look to make a buck and this is no different.

I'm surprised they haven't recorded a song for the semi final.

They're shit but they know how to scrape a win. We'll play brilliantly and dominate at Blackburn, probably batter them in comparison to the Mancs but will we win 2-0? Probably not.

Smicer07...One of the real thickies on RAWK.

Pendzo's just bothered about the swearing.

I heard a swear word there who do i report this too.

The last time Liverpool played 'brilliantly', Dalglish was in the team not the dugout.

Perch wasn't deceiving anyone, he was highlighting what had happened. I'm with Randall on this, it would have been an injustice if Reina had stayed on, and if Perch hadn't gone down then that could have happened.

But is it the same as saying to the ref who clearly saw it.
'He's feckin headbutted me mate thats a red.'

I think it is the same type of thing. Going down and Telling the ref are just the opposite end of 'trying to get a player sent off'. As long as the referee makes the correct decision.

In Perch's defence I thought the ref was right there and was going to pull a red card.

It's nearly exactly like Odemwingie head butting Ben Foster of his own team. Foster hardly moved.

About the Perch thing, I said the same in the Tiote/Sessgenon incident. Not nice to see, but it isnt cheating.
Asking for a throw in after its clearly gone out off you is more cheating than what Perch did.
its getting the referees attention and putting him a position to make a decision if he has seen it and wants to take the easy way out by letting it go.
Overreaction is not the best thing to do, but unfortunately, refs often let things go if the player just brushes it off and walks away.

It isnt about how hard you are headbutted. Even slight contact is a red. Its about drawing attention to it.
Rolling around after a tackle is different.

Its not up to the players to draw the ref's attention to it. Believe it or not they are sometimes wrong about fouls committed on them (not so much headbutts, but most other types). They're not the most impartial observers.

From RAWK

Imagine if you went in a Coma right after we won our 18th League title in 1990 and woke up now

Someone replied

I'd ask them to put me back under

I'm not talking about other incidents. This was clear cut. It was a red by the book.
Its not nice, but there is plenty going on out on the pitch that isnt ideal. This wasnt gaining an 'unfair' advantage. Its fine by me.
Unfortunate that players feel they need to do it, but not the worst thing they do.

Look at Scholes tonight. That elbow he took to the face was as bad as anything I've seen this season. He just went down, rubbed his cheek LIKE A MAN (because that would have hurt anyone) and the culprit remained on the pitch.

Perch would have seen justice served!
