RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

Tonight could be the night. If they drop below Everton, we might not see RAWK again until August.

Got the scouse in law coming round for tonight's game, whenever he has watched Liverpool with me they have never won- they have drawn plenty and got thumped off spurs earlier in the season so long may it continue.

The mods will just ban all mention of the match, referring to a loss would be undermining all the progress Saint Kenny has made.

Obviously with the exemption that they can discuss the loss as long as it's written in a 10,000 word essay.

They'll beat Everton, no problem.

Liverpool are an ultimate cup match team. They can always rise up to the big occasions such as derbies and matches against the bigger teams. They have one of the better records against the top 6 sides.

Its games against the lower sides where they can't be arsed.

They'll be up for it tonight and will probably win.

Everton won't beat them but a draw is possible.

Moyes has never won at Anfailed...

That doesn't surprise me, Everton must have a wretched record against Liverpool anyway, never-mind at Klanfield. The one game they've won recently factored massively in the decision to axe Hodgson, so even a good result has bad consequences :nervous:

The scousers won't call for Kenny's head, regardless of what happens. They'll accept a decision made on his job after a few weeks of protesting and processions when they look at his record and see why he was sacked but they won't ever demand his sacking. I imagine Kenny would resign before he's pushed anyway, just to stay in the fan's favour.

I'd go further that he'll resign as you say (before he's pushed) but will insinuate that 'dark forces' at the club had been undermining him from day 1 and had made it impossible for him to bring home number 19.

This way it won't be his fault and the deluded scouse feckwits will lap it up as it fits with the view they already want to be true.

Wasn't a loss against Everton the reason why Kenny resigned from Liverpool years ago?

I looked it up and it was after a 4-4 draw with Everton he signed for health reasons in 1991. Good Old Wiki.

Another beauty from RAWK.

"The answer of course is that it's fairly obvious that FSG wanted a PR exercise, a statement of intent to quell any early fan unrest at Torres' departure. Cue Comolli's "what about Andy Carroll?" intervention, and like a WAG in the January sales, we went out and bought the footballing equivalent of a Versace leopard-skin onesie for £5000."

For Versace ,read Primark

Interesting that Carroll is now a Comolli signing. I bet Enrique and Bellamy are Dalglish signings.

It was the same with Keane and Rafa, when he first signed they talked about a master stroke and how he would be brilliant with Torres. A few months later it was all about how he wasnt Rafas signing...

Still cant believe he was only there for 6 months before going back, i didnt watch many of their games but that just seems very premature to me. He was still better than a lot of the crap they had there to 'replace' him with

Now I can clearly see him too, and this fantastic old RAWK-classic of a song playing in the background --
[sung to Sweet Caroline, of course]

Walking on
Now it’s a new beginning
We’re all glad that Kenny’s home

Second coming
The King became the saviour
Kenny is back upon his throne

Goals, Scoring goals
One then two
L.F.C
We love you

Sweet Carroll 9
Oh Oh Oh
Scoring never looked so good
So good So good So good
Goals all the time
Oh Oh Oh
Just like Kenny said he would

Andy Carroll Song.

Anyone got the link to the thread at start of the season, where they rated Suarez over Rooney, Downing over Young, Adam and Henderson over Carrick etc ?

Where to begin?

probably needs a thread of it's own but the pisspoor showing of the manc & cockney teams in the CL are putting the 4th Premiership CL place at risk. I'm not sure when it'll drop back down to 3 but if they keep tossing away games it won't be long.
LFC have been instrumental in gaining that 4th spot for English clubs and if it's squandered it'll be even harder with 6/7 teams playing for top 3 and not top 4 slots.

If I recall correctly, the UEFA coefficient is based on the results of the previous five European Cups, so I think he can safely untwist his knickers and calm down.

Nice to see he's planning so far ahead regarding keeping Liverpool firmly in the victim category, though. And it will be the Mancs' fault, too. Recklessly squandering the 4th spot Liverpool Football Club fought so hard to give to the English game.

Top class blame shifting.

 I can't even be bothered to post the stats because it's such an embarrassing thing to say.
