RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

Baffles me how much they rate Glen Johnson mind. I guess they know more than me considering they watch him every week but feck me are they glowing in their praise.

A few adventurous forward runs from a fullback seem to blind a lot of people, like Andy Townsend who always seems to name him MOTM when he plays for England.

His display for Portsmouth against Nani in I think the Community Shield was one of the worst fullback displays I can remember.

That Bluemoon-thread is nearly as deluded as these RAWK-comments. It's seriously baffling to read some of those comments.

It's like the Rafa Police in here
Police? More like the Rafa Armee Fraktion!
The passion! The rage!

I don't care how you justify it, there is a way of making valid criticisms of [Rafa], and then there is a way of constantly taking snide digs at him, chipping, chipping. If you're the latter, you're the worst kind of poison there is and there is no 'right to an opinion', 'discussion forum' out. You're the worst kind of specimen there is, less than a man, much less a supporter, and the most beneficial thing you can do is stop breathing.
[my bolding]

Villlas-Boas sacked

Given the quality of their attacking options having anyone who can attack well is a luxury

Heard something on the radio earlier saying Benitez is literally throwing himself at the Chelsea and England jobs followed by a round of laughter.
The only thing Rafa is throwing himself against is his sword. For the Everlasting Glory of Liverpool Football Club.

You must know this by now, surely.

ETA: The mighty  at the thought of Benitez literally throwing himself at anything.

Reading Liverpool fans "omens" concerning Arsenal vs Milan on Facebook and Twitter

"When Milan lost to Liverpool in Instanbul, 1st goal was a header, 2nd was a goal from a czech player and the 3rd was a penalty. Come on Arsenal....Spirit of Istanbul, YAWN"

If Benitez threw himself at the England hotseat he would break it comprehensively

On Rafa possibly going to Tottenham:

If Droopy the Stroke Struck Dog fecks off for the middle and southern England job then mark my words they will be in for Rafa...In my darkest nightmares I still can't reach the depths of what I think he could achieve with that team and some decent backing in the transfer market

I understand the love in they have with Rafa (he won them the UCL after all) but to continue it so long after hes gone is just madness. Its got to the point where actual events have been removed and they've invented their own little valiant tale.

I dont think hes a bad manager (as long as he just focuses on that side of the game) but theres a reason hes been out of work since the Inter job.

 That 'nightmares' line creased me up. Strange how club so lacking in Romance attracts loads of melodramatic twits...

I guess there will be a sudden influx of scousers on Tottenham/Chelsea forums soon to prepare to defend him and abuse anyone who doesn't want him.

I'm pretty sure there are probably still some defending him/abusing Inter fans on ForzaInter.

Big money Benitez signing. 18m - 140k/week.
He has to be brilliant.

Sagna was bought for a third, and probably costs a third in wages. God I hope Benitez comes back in some capacity, imagine the groundswell of hope that will inevitably be quashed after the first season.
