How much did Liverpool spend on players again? Not that it matters, I'd take £20m for Downing over £15m for the Ox any day of the week, have you seen the video with the wheelie bins?

Well, I do rate Reina... not the best in the world obviously, but I do rate him. The others are laughable though. Adam = Wilshere is one of the funniest things I've read today.
Well i think Enrique, Agger and Reina is a better than Koscielny, Szczesny and Vermaelen. I also dont think Gervinho or Walcott are so much better than Suarez or Kuyt. Again, as i said, Asnl do shade it but i dont think theres much between the squads (you know if you took that big factor out that is RvP)
In all fairness, Reina has been poor as feck this year.
True but Szczesny has had his fair share of mistakes. Actually come to think about it, it has been a pretty poor season for goal keepers in general
Song has played more through-balls than ANYONE else in the league. I daresay he's racked up double figures in assists too now. Song > any and all of their midfielders. I haven't even started on Arteta and Wilshere, who would both walk into their side too.
As for not having Van Persie? What the feck is that idiot on about. He's scored nearly as many goals as THEIR WHOLE SIDE this campaign... Incredible really... But of course they'd prefer Andy-'the new Heskey'-Carrol, or Durk Kuyt as their main goalscorers.
Oh man I can't even believe I bothered to write all that out, but christ on a bike one or maybe two of their players would make our first XI on a good day.
To be fair, number of through balls and assists are not the best indicators of the quality of a defensive midfielder.
Sagna is a much better RB than Johnson or Kelly.
Individually Koscielny and Vermaelen are better players than anyone Liverpool can throw up, it's our tactics that cause us to leak goals. It's their individual ability that keeps us in most games. Both are excellent defenders.
Liverpool have a good defensive record than us because they don't dominate possession and commit bodies forward like we do. They play it much more cautious (shit) and safe.
To be fair I'll have agger over Koscielny and Enrique over gibbs, rest I agree.
Sort of proves that the only real difference between the two is one world class forward doesnt it. I mean how many goals have the other players in your team racked up together 20, 25 goals?
Liverpool were by far the better side today. Enjoy the win CM, I know I did, but other than RvP, Sagna and one pass from Song you offered nothing. I would actually rank this Arsenal side as the worst I have seen for ages.
He doesn't play as a pure DM anymore, or at least he hasn't for a fair while now. He plays much more like a box-to-box midfielder, with Arteta being the one who sits back (and dictates play).
When he focus's solely on defending/screening he's a beast, but he can dribble and spot a nice forward pass so Wenger insists (sometimes to the detriment of the team) on encouraging him to push further up the pitch.
Regardless he's a better midfielder than any one of Liverpool's. Well that's my opinion anyway.
I think partnerships matter more at central defence with Agger & Skrtel being a more natural partnership than Koscielny and Vermalaen. Whilst I agree their individual quality is probably better than both of Liverpools CBs (Agger is equal or at worse extremely close to both) I don't think their partnership is as good.
Enrique is much better than Arsenals LB option (whoever that is).
Sagna is indeed superior to what Liverpool can offer.
I think Reina is also better than Chesney but they've both had similar sorts of seasons, some great games, some errors. Same goes for any other GK in the league really.
Enrique is a good player no doubt, and would slot into our side without question.
Koscielny's been excellent this season, one of the most natural defenders you'll see. Each to their own though.
Santos and Gibbs. Vermaelen, Coquelin and Miquel have all deputised at LB this season too, thanks to injuries.
And I agree with everything you say there. Though it has to be pointed out that Vermaelen and Koscielny have probably played all of half a dozen games together at CB this season, so they haven't had much chance to form a partnership as yet.
I think most people do when you consider the players they brought in in the window; Arteta, who I rate as a player but to be honest, he found his level at Everton and there's a reason no bigger clubs came knocking and then Benayoun who's just terrible who they signed out of desperation to plug the holes in case of injury. I don't think Arsenal's current side is worse than Liverpool's current side despite being the worst Arsenal side in recent years, it is still a lot better than Liverpool's current side and Liverpool were only better on the day, they aren't better on paper, not by a long way.
