RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

What a bunch of spacegoats.

Your sister's cu*t is actually my favourite insult, Uncle Junior in The Sopranos delivers the line perfectly when he slips over in the shower.

It's typical long-winded Spanish ways of cursing: "Shit" or "FFS" or "Bloody hell".

"Me cago en..." (I shit in) a lot of options:

  • Dios (God)
  • La hostia (the host)
  • Vos (you)
  • La concha de tu madre (your mother's cnut)
  • La madre (shorter, full body experience)
  • La concha de tu hermana (your sister's cnut)
  • La concha de tu abuela (your granny's cnut)
  • La puta que lo/te parió (the whore that gave birth to him/you)
  • La madre que lo parió (stops short of calling the mum a whore)
Since it takes very long to say some of these instead of just "Shit" we often omit the "Me cago en" and focus on specifying the location of our shitting.

Totally harmless cursing which may or may not be directed at someone, no one in their right mind would be offended by it or actually take it literally implying their mum is a whore or anything of the sort.

Unless you say it repeatedly and way after the incident that prompts the outburst, which is very rarely the case, and not at all the case here with Evra.

What people were not happy about here was the "sudaca" comment, consistently used by Spaniards to refer to South Americans in a derogative way. It's considered much worse than a reference to skin colour as it implies a history, a social status, mixed race status, all in one.

I never got around whether Evra said it or not (apparently said South American, and some assumed the intent of saying sudaca when translating) but the conventional wisdom here is that he did, so people are baffled as to how negro is worthy of suspension and sudaca isn't.

In fairness, there is some validity in the whole thing being blown out of proportion. What people don't get at all is that a mere apology would have sufficed and it is the persistent refusal to admit any wrongdoing that grates. At least that's my take.

The report found that he didn't say anything, but the accusation from Suarez was that Evra had said 'South American' in English, but there was found to be no evidence for that and Evra said when questioned about it 'what would be the point?'.

Evra denied and the report confirmed that Evra never used Sudaca. It was confirmed by Suarez as well. Not only did he not hear Sudaca, he didn't hear the 'sister's cnut' as well.

They have a thread on the SAF interview - the comments are fairly unsurprising

feck that.

I'd rather cut both of my plums off with a blunt knife than listen to that coffin-dodging drunk ramble on.

And Spoony can feck off as well.

Fck him and his stupid drunken red head. Respect my hole. He's a cnut of the highest order.

I saw that Ben smith commented on this on twitter, after calling him charming he was promptly unfollowed

i turned on 5live, heard a few seconds of ramblings about ferguson's snooker room and extensive library of books, preceded by some sycophantic fluff from 'spoonie' and decided it wasn't worth the rise in blood pressure.

To be honest, in recent years I literally can't watch or listen to the fella and switch over when he's being interviewed.

I really don't know why spoonie was deemed the appropriate choice of interviewer , either

(The ultima@ate RAWK spastic, he couldn't resist).

The BBC are running a series of articles about showing the 'real' Ferguson.

This is one of them. Described thusly;

Meet the real Mr. Ferguson

Manchester United manager speaks candidly about life and football in an in-depth interview with Spoony. Relaxed and Candid - the Real Ferguson.

Joke.

A@A talking to himself by quoting his previous post
It is really hard to find someone more loathsome in football. His two-faced myopic lying shithouse tactics always seem to be ignored by the media. For anyone that wants to find 1984 style doublespeak and doublethink is - then look no further than that alcoholic liar.

It was probably part of the deal for him to agree to start speaking to them again. A nice fluffy sycophantic interview to make him look like a lovely, cuddly Grandad. Does he finish with a “Well done, Spoony”.

He might come across as the nicest man in the world but I wouldn’t know as I’m never going to put myself through it. Why would I want to?

Shouldnt that be 1948 Andy? :D

tbf I checked the Bluemoon response which was much more classy - some genuine appreciation there

Well City fans do have a little more class the the scousers. No doubt. Although it wouldn't be hard, they give rats a bad name. I'll never forget the respect they showed to the Munich 50 year anniversary. Pure silence. It would be a very different story if it had been Liverpool fans.

Because they love their minutes silence.

in all seriousness, they would have been crucified by all if they made a peep. Same as cITY would have been. City are just as bad if not worse than the scousers when it comes to mocking Munich.

Scousers must have known that they'd get crucified for supporting Suarez even after he'd been found guilty, they still did that.

I'm not saying that it would be the whole away stand, but I'd say a few ignorant fans would have taken the piss abit.

Only fans I've ever personally experienced being twats during a minute's silence were Leeds fans when Sir Matt died. The cnuts chanted Don Revie's name for the whole minute.

What a bunch of spacegoats.

Indeed.
Shub-Niggurath -- 'The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young'; "the rest of the Liverpool squad that, as a whole, becomes one powerful and dangerous entity to all around."

Winston Churchill

As Churchill once said this quote, it can now apply to LFC.

With our ever longing quest for success and glory, we're now marching toward our past, especially with Dalglish at the helm and a set of players who will not only run through brick walls for the shirt, but will rebuild the stonework to run through it again.
[...]
Should Liverpool win on Sunday, then the pages of the papers will not be filled with the names of celebrities, members of parliament or even the royal family, as the pages will be filled with the names of Gerrard, Bellamy, Suarez, Henderson, Reina, Agger, Enrique, Johnson and the rest of the Liverpool squad that, as a whole, becomes one powerful and dangerous entity to all around.
[...]
We're forever marching towards our past

Walking toward our past

I love RAWK.

I'm not sure what's worse, being stuck in the past or rewinding to 1990 and starting all over again.

you can imagine one of them starting a thread asking the liverpool fans to pretend like they are in the past, to make a new start and then the posters pretending they actually are in the past

OP: Errrrrr, Lets pretend likhhhh we are all in the past and this Shoearez business doesnt exisht like

Post 1 - Hello, My name is Ned, good to meet you guys
Post 2 - What a great night in instabul last night la
post 3 - Rafa Benitez is the future!!

No, papers won't be filled with the names of your players. Pretty much no one cares about Carling Cup and neither did you until now.

How are they reacting to all the paper talk about Rafa being lined up to save Chelsea's season?

Hope Rafa doesn't end up with Chelsea. Could see them winning the league for the forseeable and overtaking everyones CL titles.

Good. I'm sick of all the abuse opposing fans give players.

Every week fans sing 'What a waste of money' at Andy Carroll, or 'Luis Suarez, you know what you are'. Its about time clubs start taking action so that fans start showing some respect towards the players. It is unsporting.

:lol::lol:

Porto in no way bitter that City reported their crowd for racist abuse. Nope, no bitterness at all.

RAWK actually frightens me. My theory is that it's some kind of Lovecraftian beast that lures in incredibly stupid people, feeding off their energy to some unsavoury end.

It's just a hive of weak minds drawn to fellow weak minds.

These are the sort of people who fail in real debates with real people, so they go on there and act like wish they could outside the fake little utopia of theirs. This is why the mods on there restrict open debate and ban people with an ounce of intelligent thought, it keeps them in a position of power. It's like the biggest of the runts leading the smaller ones, yeah you might have some power over others, but you are still a runt.

It's most amusing :D

The irony of him whinging about the abuse Carroll and Suarez get while completely ignoring his own moronic fans booing Evra for the whole game. I feel like slapping someone when I read RAWK sometimes.
