So let me get this right, these owners who rid their club's debt, pump huge money into their club after that, do not interfere with the manager's work methods, let the man turn the club into a farce are still bastards for trying to restore some pride back into the club after an amazingly farcical episode? Wow. Really, just astonishing.

I'd be embarassed too if I was a Liverpool fan. The way they've conducted themselves the past few months has been shocking.

Liverpool are just trying to protect their their image and as such their commercial interests with this humiliating climb down. Backing Suarez was also an attempt at protecting those commercial interests, to keep their prize asset happy. It has been car crash management from the start, at all levels.
