Meh, that ref was one of the worst I've seen in ages and West Brom's shitehouse tactics with the pitch and all won't work in the Championship I'm afraid. They'll get a taste of their own medicine traveling to places like Hull on a Wednesday night next season, and I don't think they'll be coming right back up.

But I'm a bit upset at Klopp with that as well. I understand taking Salah off but bringing on another CB to hold onto a lead against the league's worst side and one that is more or less down is a poor decision. Bring Solanke on and keep going at them, get a third and kill it off. Or at least preoccupy them with defending.

I think ppl are being a little too harsh on gomez. He was absolutely colossus against manure utd at anfield as a RB. He is virtually impenetrable in one on one situations (he always wins the ball).

Yes...when it comes to defending set pieces he does have some issues. But lets play him to his strength. i really do think he will make an excellent DM or a ball playing CB.

This was also his first game back in a while.....therefore he is still not up to speed of the game yet (physically and mentally)

BTW.....he is probably england's best performing CB in the last few games too.

The crazy thing is because they are such game raisers they could very well get to champions league final

Still think they are generally crap although salah is having an amazing season it somewhat hiding a lot of their deficiencies

Reckon this is a bit like the Torres transfer to Chelsea. He'd actually declined massively in the 12 months leading into the transfer, and brought no motivation with him - didn't fit into the new place and was generally speaking a disaster for them. So many echoes with this one. Only difference being Sanchez is MUCH older and the chances of him turning it around for anything longer than the short term are nil.
